You know, I'm finding having put this challenge in my sig a really good idea: I get quite sadly excited at the idea of reporting a UU and being able to amend it! :rotfl:Please call me 'Pickle'

I used my points in Boots on Friday to get a Sanctuary Spa Moisture Boosting Mask but haven't used it yet. According to the instructions you can leave it on for 10 minutes or overnight - I'm thinking the overnight option would be way too messy so may compromise and put it on for a few hours in the day time - obviously when I'm not going out!
I suffer from a combination of eczema, acne and rosacea and my skin has been awful for months now - spotty but ultra dry so I'm hoping this might help. I'm also termpted by the Aldi 7 day treatment - has anyone ever used this or is it new? Also, has anyone used the Sanctuary mask and what did they think?3 stone down, 3 more to go0 -
Hi everyone
1 UU to report - the 50ml Clinique Body Butter - WIBA? Yes It made my skin really soft, great for the winter weather!!
Am starting the S&G 50ml Righteous butter today so that should be gone in 3 or 4 days!
Have a great Sunday

Hello! Hope you all had a good Saturday
*cough**cough* Not that anyone here cares- but which paper? Where did you hear this? So we can all avoid it of course ......
The whole 'not buying until I've used what I've got' malarky is working in different areas of my life too. My local craft shop is closing down in the next couple of days and everything in store is half-price. I could have spent a fortune (a fortune I don't have) but was very good and just got a few little bits I didn't have any of :T:T
Hope everyone has a good Sunday
Hello! Hope you slept ok.
You've probably caught up by now with EssexHebredian's post on the BS offer but just in case you haven't, looks like being in the Telegraph next week - perhaps she knows more details - my computer is super slow so can't look for it whilst on here too. OK, I may have one other shopping window open too....but just browsing....they have some cute gift sets and kids stuff on offer at Lloyds Pharmacy but I think £40 spend to get free postage is a bit steep. Oh yeah, plus of course I DON'T NEED ANYTHING (shouts to herself!)
Well done on extending the new 'do I need it' thinking to your craft collection too - this also seems to be a popular hoarding item! last night I wrote a list of things that I am not allowed to buy - in 2 lists - things I'm just not allowed to buy this year - full stop - and things I can only buy when I have almost run out.
Sometime I go to a nice toiletris website, fill my shopping basket and then leave without paying - I sort of get half the shopping fix then, LOL!! :rotfl:
Now I have the dilemna of having lots of Body lotion and butter and being about to run out of hand cream - is there really such a difference or can I just use the body stuff for my hands?? :cool:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
Morning all
I am up early this morning since I couldn't sleep. Finding it hard to relax at the moment. Off to have a shower soon hopefully that will make me feel a bit more relaxed. Any tips on how to relax when you are feeling on the edge would be appreciated.
One more UU to report. Clarins Beauty flash balm, received as a freebie, I couldn't see any difference using this product and in the end used up as a hand cream so definetely wont be buying again.
Enjoy your SundayNo toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -

What do other people think of the scheme?
Hi Essexhebridean, I had a LYB card a few years ago. I agree with Tara that this card is only worth having if you are buying lots from them. When I had it, I felt that I had to go in there and buying lots of products in order to really utilise the card and ended up buying lots of unnecessary products that I didn't need and some of whom I am still using up. I wont be getting the card again! No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

Hi Becky
Not sure why you are on edge - did you see the meditainment link I pasted earlier in the thread? Or how about some nice rainforest type music - I know it sounds a bit old hippy - which I really am not (old goth actually!) but I find it relaxing. Or how about getting a pet if you don't have one.....I have a 4 month old rescue kitten who needs a home...!
I have been struggling to sleep lately - maybe it's something in the air....I get nervous when it's really windy as to what I will have to pull from the neighbours garden the next day.
I got one of the BS cards - the SA asked if I wanted one and I said no thanks so she said I could have one for free - they obviously have discretion. I wouldn't have paid for it, unless I got my money back on that first purchase, cos like you say, it just encourages you to go back there until you feel like you've got your money's worth!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Hello everyone *waves*...I've been lurking for the past couple of days reading this thread and have been inspired to sign up and post! I don't have a huge stash (no where near as impressive as some on here!) but I am a sucker for buying new products when I have plenty of old ones left, mainly make up and moisturisers... I'm just longing for that miracle potion that will give me a flawless complexion!
In the spirit of the challenge I'm going to have a bath tonight and try and use up some of my stash, and then I'm going to tackle the drawer of forgotten toiletries! One thing the challenge has done for me is to weed out the definite 'non miracles'.

Just one uu from last night. The last of my sample sized Decleor Angelique night balms (I can now move on to the pot) It smells lovely but I'm still not sure what it achieves.0
