tara747- there would be no way i would pay 76.00 for an elemis cream no matter how good it is!!
I used the Sanctuary Night Concentrate last night-not too keen on the smell but it is very nice to apply and woke up this morning with lovely soft skin( I suffer from v dry skin) so I think it was a good choice.

I am debating the MB grabbit , but I don't need it........................I just really want it!!:)

Hi, it was mentioned that the Glamour mag is out on 3 March - so am guessing it will be April issue.

This is a very good point!!! :T

rachel84 - just checked out that Sanctuary night concentrate on the Boots website... marine complex eh? Sounds like it may be a cheaper version of this... http://www.elemis.com/bodycare/ProductDetails.aspx?pid=53 :D:D:D

i actually use Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. I always buy the 30ml tubs (which last me a good 3 months) and have an RRP of £48.00. I never pay that though, usually buy it in a TSV if there are other products in there that I like (these kits are usually their Christmas ones so MrM buys them for me). It does really work for me as well. I ran out at the beginning of November and used a different moisturiser until Santa brought me new stock! The fines lines around my eyes soon crept back.

A couple of years ago Instyle Mag gave away a 25ml tube of PCMC as an exclusive to Tesco. I managed to buy enough of them to have a 2 year stock pile. That was a great offer! :money:

Incidentally there is an Elemis TSV on QVC on 3 March featuring PCMC - I'll be sitting on my hands that day.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

So.....Home Bargains.....we went, we saw, and we came out having only bought toothpaste so far as toiletries went! :D Toothpaste is fine as well - I'm about half way down my Pearl Drops now and don't have another in, so todays purchase of a tube of Arm & Hammer Advanced Whitening was a bit necessary really! Did have a sniff of some Albert Balsam shampoo (I know which one I want to buy when I next need it now!) and some rather nice Coconut body butter (which was only 79p, so will definately be on my "must try" list but wasn't really massively tempted by anything else. :A

I think there is a possibility that Tara may have a confession the next time she's in here though...... ;)

  • Hello everyone *waves*...I've been lurking for the past couple of days reading this thread and have been inspired to sign up and post! I don't have a huge stash (no where near as impressive as some on here!) but I am a sucker for buying new products when I have plenty of old ones left, mainly make up and moisturisers... I'm just longing for that miracle potion that will give me a flawless complexion!

In the spirit of the challenge I'm going to have a bath tonight and try and use up some of my stash, and then I'm going to tackle the drawer of forgotten toiletries!

Oooh - could you list them all? Shower gels are my weakness too:o

They're not too exciting I'm afraid!!

Mostly Avon in various smells as they are always on special offer
Also 8 L'occitane I got from QVC when they were TSV and on autodelivery, those evil QVC types!!
3 or 4 BS that match body butters
3 Lush that I got this xmas and will have to move to the front of the queue before they go off
    2 Naked from Mr B
    1 OS lemon
1 Lacoste Touch of Pink in a perfume gift set for xmas last year
Various small bottles stolen from hotels

I think my problem with my shower gel stash is that I think I use up loads more than I actually do because I use it every day but it takes me ages to get through a bottle!!

Hello Kate *waves back!* Welcome to the challenge!

When you do dig out all your toiletries from all their hiding places you might have more than you thought! I thought I didn't have much moisturiser stashed until I dug them out today and found 20 (!) of various sizes and ages cluttering up the place.

Guess I don't need to buy any for a while :D

IKWYM I am sick of the sight of my shower gels on my bathroom shelf TBH... why do they take soooo long to UU! I want to go "shopping in my stash" as someone on here coined the phrase. (sorry I forget who?)

Love your stash mad_scientist - also have been drawn in by QVC and have to have matching fragranced shower gel and body butter/cream/lotion. :o

    What is "OS" BTW?
