Click on "User CP" on the green bar towards the top of the page.
On the left of the page is "Your Control Panel" and half way down the list is Edit Signature ;)

On the green bar across the top of the thread you will see the option for "UserCP" - click on that, then from the menu on the left hand side select "edit signature" I think it says. Then you can type in the box, and save to use the signature automatically in your posts. You can use all the same options as in normal forum posts, so smilies, coloured text and centralisation if required.

sarah*a - how do you multiquote so many posts??? I can only do up to 3 at a time. TIA.

Right click on the Quote button - choose open in new tab - then cut and paste into one reply box. You can't do this if you have ticked the multi-quote balloons as you end up with loads of tabs with the same three quotes in :rotfl: I tend to have half-a-dozen tabs open with reminders of things I want to reply to :p

I'm not sure about next weekends forecast BS £5 voucher though - will have to weigh up the price of the paper/s vs the offer....

*cough**cough* Not that anyone here cares ;) - but which paper? Where did you hear this? So we can all avoid it of course ...... :p

Nothing to report for me today - I did find another bottle of Superdrug Spa Mineral Bath Soak (in the dining room of all places :o) but as OH has decided it has some sort of magical properties he has taken it for his personal use. What he thinks it is going to do I still have no idea - I've read the ingredients list and it just looks like blue bubble bath to me :rotfl:

Did my Aldi shopping today so I wouldn't be tempted by the beauty offers tomorrow :A

The whole 'not buying until I've used what I've got' malarky is working in different areas of my life too. My local craft shop is closing down in the next couple of days and everything in store is half-price. I could have spent a fortune (a fortune I don't have :o) but was very good and just got a few little bits I didn't have any of :T:T

Hope everyone has a good Sunday

    Hello All.

I haven't caught up with the whole thread yet (its been a trying week!) Hope job interviews went well, poorly people get better and everyone else is doing fabulous.

As I managed to spend nearly £100 in January after joining this thread I would say I failed massively. However, I did glean something very useful out of that £100 (which you lot probably already knew!)

I buy "ranges" generally suckered in to the spiel that all the ingredients "work best" together. Therefore, in an example this month I bought the entire Body Shop Seaweed Range. After a massive dry skin and red itchy/sore breakout, I stopped using it and bought some Avene Thermal stuff for sensitive skin to calm my skin down. However, I didn't just buy some of the Avene range, I bought most of the sensitive/blemish prone stuff.

I then hit upon something after a guilt trip, I really like the mattifying day cream from the BS, I like the cleanser from Avene and the recovery cream and my AHA Gel from Priori. Dare I say it, I have mixed brands and my skin (fingers crossed please) has improved. I will see though.

It might sound daft, but I might have cottoned on to something here which may save me money in the long run.

Plan to paint the nails and have a bit of a beauty night as OH is out tonight. Will have a makeup sort out as well because i have decided that if I don't wear it, what is the point? Hopefully, a sort out will make me realise that I have that I can use and then on Monday I might wear some.

I love the Body Shop seaweed matifying lotion (I use the SPF one). I haven't tried any of the other range as I thought they may be too harsh for my skin. Lisa Eldrige, a make up artist (just google her) - explained how if too harsh a cleanser is used the skin often produces more oil! The last thing we need. So I also use a gentle cleanser but an oil free moisturiser.

Went to B&&ts to buy a replacement powder/mineral foundation - and they didn't stock the Collection 2000 mineral powder one - aaarrrgh, hope its not discontinued.
I succumbed to a No7 mini kit of 7 products for £4 - looks like it was a former gift with purchase. I wanted a pink lip gloss and this containedB one - but found the quality awful. Now regret buying it :(
But I'll use up all the other minis super quick - they were tiny!

YAY! Another UU! :j 50ml Sanctuary Body Butter

WIBA? It's nice enough - think it smells a bit vanilla-ish but I'm not sure, but I've loads of others to use up so it's a 'no' for now.

On to 100ml M&S Fallin' Leaves Body Lotion (smells slightly masculine after a first use).

    Hi Mariella,

where do I find the job threads?

there is an up your income thread that lists jobs working from home
a few i have done include excel telemedia or something like that too tierd for brain to think of exact name (its not for everyone basically chatlines..)if its something you would do then i would suggest getting skype.
mystery shopping can also be a way to earn extra pennies-there are alot of companies-pm me if you want a list or i think there might be a thread for it.
i realise these wont solve everthing but hopefully they will help alittle.also check out the make 10 a day thread-they tend to hsve loads of ideas on there aswell.
to keep post relevant i will have some ins -oral b toothbrush heads-£13-reduced from £30 so very:money:(8 i think)this is something i need and the ones i was originally gonna get cost 10 for 2! also picked up a benefit blush for less than £10 (sugarbomb one) - will be interesting to see how this turns out as it is mega cheap.i used amazon vouchers so not cheating really.like i said i need the brushes and it would be wrong not to get the benefit:rotfl:if it turns out to be legit going back for more!
thanks for the info about glamour aswell-might be picking up 5 or so copys:D

    Evening ladies... :o
So.....Home Bargains.....we went, we saw, and we came out having only bought toothpaste so far as toiletries went! :D Toothpaste is fine as well - I'm about half way down my Pearl Drops now and don't have another in, so todays purchase of a tube of Arm & Hammer Advanced Whitening was a bit necessary really! Did have a sniff of some Albert Balsam shampoo (I know which one I want to buy when I next need it now!) and some rather nice Coconut body butter (which was only 79p, so will definately be on my "must try" list but wasn't really massively tempted by anything else. :A

I think there is a possibility that Tara may have a confession the next time she's in here though...... ;)

    Eek! Rumbled!!! :rotfl:

Yes, I do have a confession (see below). :o

p.s. well done on resisting the bargains!!!

tara747- there would be no way i would pay 76.00 for an elemis cream no matter how good it is!!
I used the Sanctuary Night Concentrate last night-not too keen on the smell but it is very nice to apply and woke up this morning with lovely soft skin( I suffer from v dry skin) so I think it was a good choice.

I am debating the MB grabbit , but I don't need it........................I just really want it!!:)

    I wouldn't pay £76 either!!!

Thanks for the Sanctuary night concentrate review, sounds lovely. :)

OK, so I did buy MB stuff, but hear me out!! I bought 2x £10 gift cards, a £25 gift card and got a free Cempaka shower gel and free sample - total £45 (couldn't face paying £4.95 for postage so bumped up my order). I will eBay the shower gel, free sample and £25 gift card and should make close to £45 on those. Therefore, the 2x £10 gift cards will have been more or less free! I also got 2 copies of the Times and will buy myself a papain exfoliator and a skinpure cleanser for free! And I will have £1 left on a MB gift card. :rotfl:

I know, it's still an IN :o but I have been longing to try both of these products and this is the cheapest way to do it.

I am going to sit on the naughty step, I may be some time... :rotfl:

i actually use Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. I always buy the 30ml tubs (which last me a good 3 months) and have an RRP of £48.00. I never pay that though, usually buy it in a TSV if there are other products in there that I like (these kits are usually their Christmas ones so MrM buys them for me). It does really work for me as well. I ran out at the beginning of November and used a different moisturiser until Santa brought me new stock! The fines lines around my eyes soon crept back.

A couple of years ago Instyle Mag gave away a 25ml tube of PCMC as an exclusive to Tesco. I managed to buy enough of them to have a 2 year stock pile. That was a great offer! :money:

I got a 30ml PCMC before Christmas as part of an Elemis set, the whole set cost about £24!!! It had 5 items, I am so chuffed with it but am going to be strict about NOT opening any of it till I've UU something else.

OMG @ the InStyle offer, why did I not know about this?????:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

    welcome aboard newbies! :D

I was browsing the BS site earlier on with a view to the Telegraph vouchers next weekend. As I mentioned before my OH is a Telegraph subscriber so I will get these vouchers without any spend at all which removes some of the deliberation from the proceedings! Assuming that my store has the mini sizes in, I will probably look at a combination of mini shower gel, mini seaweed wash off cleanser, possibly the mini Rainforest conditioners (I have quite a few mini shampoos but am short on conditioners) and perhaps a soap to make up the spend if needed. I find that when we're camping, I'm fine with "roughing it" generally, but having some really nice toiletries to use makes such a difference to showering in slightly grotty surroundings, so minis will get used. The other thing I was wondering was whether it was possible to use these vouchers for purchasing a Love Your Body card? If so that would seem like a sensible use for one of them! I am considering the Love Your Body card in any case - the Telegraph vouchers seem to be coming up several times a year now, and as I usually buy a full sized shower gel and pay the extra £1 I'd even be reducing my spend when doing this by having a card. What do other people think of the scheme?

Don't bother with LYB unless you shop instore loads, the website is so glitchy and the codes are often 20-30% off, you won't ever need it :D
