Not sure why you are on edge - did you see the meditainment link I pasted earlier in the thread? Or how about some nice rainforest type music - I know it sounds a bit old hippy - which I really am not (old goth actually!) but I find it relaxing. Or how about getting a pet if you don't have one.....I have a 4 month old rescue kitten who needs a home...!
I have been struggling to sleep lately - maybe it's something in the air....I get nervous when it's really windy as to what I will have to pull from the neighbours garden the next day.
Thanks Juliebunny, No I didn't see meditainment link. Would you mind posting it again. I am feeling better now after my shower did a scalp mask, face mask and exfoliation. I am feeling on edge because of work which is so not me at all. I am feeling really overwhelmed but will try to remind myself next week that all I can do is my best and really prioritise work.
Hope you will sleep better tonight. Perhaps a cup of herbal tea will help before going to bed. The wind kept me awake last night as well. Hopefully the weather will soon calm down. I am off for a walk soon, just to get some fresh air.
Take care.No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

i have a confession.....
In Aldi i found a shampoo which i looked at and thought "that looks like the Nizoral packaging" so i picked one up for £2.49 for 100ml (i think). Sounds sad but when my excema breaks out it helps, and i've had a look online and it IS the same stuff but just under it's generic name. The trade marked stuff is over a tenner for the same size bottle. Now i know it is the same stuff i will be popping back to get a couple more bottles because we all know they're unlikely to get it back in again as it's one of their random special items.
I do feel sad that everyone else is out there splashing on lovely smelling things from very posh companies and i'm declaring something so mundain and sad as an IN.
The other side effect is that i will be able to balance my conditioner bottles for a justifiable reason which will get me over that little OCD.0 -
Started on the nail varnish count whilst getting ready for my belated birthday do last night....32....now 33 as I got given one as a pressie.
Feel pitifully awful today (thank gawd I resisted the tequila) and not sure I can get further but will attempt pics of my stash. Also trying to resist going to Boots to stock up on the 35p deoderants......0 -
One In for me today. 900ml bottle of Tresomme conditioner. Am fed up of looking at Boots for the S&G one that they haven't stocked since before Christmas and need something to stop Emma using up all my Ojon.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I don't think that's sad at all, that's a really useful piece of info. Do stock up, but Aldi will almost certainly have this in again next year. thanks for all the good wishes,I think I am on the road to recovery but am feeling very tender and lacking in energy.I have been reading articles about the high levels of bugs in chicken and am so angry that this is allowed to continue when it is avoidable as in New zealand they just do not have a problem:mad:I will wait and see what public health have to say,DH has been ill all weekend but thankfully nowhere near as bad as I was.I looked at the link to the dailymail article and the pic of the bug was scary:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:I do all the right things re hygene and cooking and DH carved the chicken and would have soon told me if it had not been cooked properly.Unfortunately the bin men came on wed and the carcass has long gone, all I have is the receipt to say I bought it:(.
re LYB card you dont lose money on it if you go instore in your birthday month as they give you £5 off anything....I bought 2 bottles of half price shower gel using mine = £12 of stuff for £1 I had to pay:)
uu a Lush bodysugar scrub thing green WNBA it was so scratchy I threw it away as made my skin sore:(
off for a little walk to get some fresh air
Hope you're feeling better soon
I used one of those Lush scrub things too and ended up with all these scratches over me! Never again!
I also had a lyb card and got a lovely little strawberry gift set half price in my birthday month (helps having a birthday in january I guess!) so like Rosemary says, you won't lose any money by getting one.freebird65 wrote: »Started on the nail varnish count whilst getting ready for my belated birthday do last night....32....now 33 as I got given one as a pressie.

Erm, an in to report - the Liz Earle tsv, I've never tried this before and really want to! I have no excuse, I was bad
However, I did put a load of stuff into an online Avon basket and then CLOSED THE PAGE!!!!! I wanted a purple mascara so does anyone know of a decent, reasonably priced one?
Roshy, best of luck for the job outcome, when will you hear? Fingers crossed for you!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
A small UU Dove Beauty body lotion sample bottle - I have had this for years but now I have used wished I had used it sooner as it was lovely, more body butter than lotion.
I have also caved on the MB and ordered a body lotion to get the free showergel.......am off to the naughty step....0 -
hi everyone a couple of UU to report:
Balance me shower gel and shampoo WIBA o very disappointing products the shower gel smelt nice but over rated. still have a conditioner and body lotion to uU have both been relegated to shaving products - luckily these are travel sizes so i should get through them quickly.
Clarins eye cream small sample size WIBA no i find creams a bit heavy and seem to make me look more wrinkly in the morning. will be starting on my clinique one which reduces puffiness which i find works well for me.
Tried the chanel voucher - no one had heard of it. Picked up some freebies from clarins, chatted to the SA about a product i had which despite giving it a good go i could not get on with. She said it could not be exchanged but to compensate gave me 3 generous sized samples .trying hard to be debt free by the end of 20100 -

I tried it yesterday in House of Fraser and the SA told me that the mascara came out last year and that they had samples for the launch but none now. She went over the voucher, commented on the lack of date on it and questioned me about where I got it - I left empty-handed and feeling ever so slightly embarrassed
It would appear the offer has expired, perhaps this is why the website wouldn't give a list of participating stockists,0 -

I got a pack of about 6 of these travel sized bottles not this Christmas but the one before and think I still have two of them left. They really are over-rated aren't they? Was going to keep them for my hols.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge.
