  • I've UU a Colgate Sensitive Enamel Protect Toothpaste this morning. Will probably use up some body lotion after I've had my shower (still slobbing in dressing gown :rotfl:) so will post again later.

One small triumph: a while ago my OH decided he'd gone off using Imperial Leather soap, leaving 2 unopened bars abandoned. I used up one of them and he's since moved on to using Dove. This week I noticed he was on the dregs of his soap but I decided to turn a blind eye and the next thing I know he's started using the last bar of Imperial Leather and he hasn't said a word, bless. Yay, that means I can concentrate on using my nicer smelling soaps!

Hugs to all of you who are poorly and wishing RoshyDoshy luck with the job outcome.

OK, so I did buy MB stuff, but hear me out!! I bought 2x £10 gift cards, a £25 gift card and got a free Cempaka shower gel and free sample - total £45 (couldn't face paying £4.95 for postage so bumped up my order). I will eBay the shower gel, free sample and £25 gift card and should make close to £45 on those. Therefore, the 2x £10 gift cards will have been more or less free! I also got 2 copies of the Times and will buy myself a papain exfoliator and a skinpure cleanser for free! And I will have £1 left on a MB gift card. :rotfl:

I know, it's still an IN :o but I have been longing to try both of these products and this is the cheapest way to do it.

I am going to sit on the naughty step, I may be some time... :rotfl:

No need to sit on the naughty step tara as you are a GENIUS:T:T:TBuying gift cards online to spend in store with the Times offer - brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!! And ebaying stuff as well! :money::j

    hi ladies,
thanks for all the good wishes,I think I am on the road to recovery but am feeling very tender and lacking in energy.I have been reading articles about the high levels of bugs in chicken and am so angry that this is allowed to continue when it is avoidable as in New zealand they just do not have a problem:mad:I will wait and see what public health have to say,DH has been ill all weekend but thankfully nowhere near as bad as I was.I looked at the link to the dailymail article and the pic of the bug was scary:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:I do all the right things re hygene and cooking and DH carved the chicken and would have soon told me if it had not been cooked properly.Unfortunately the bin men came on wed and the carcass has long gone, all I have is the receipt to say I bought it:(.
re LYB card you dont lose money on it if you go instore in your birthday month as they give you £5 off anything....I bought 2 bottles of half price shower gel using mine = £12 of stuff for £1 I had to pay:)
uu a Lush bodysugar scrub thing green WNBA it was so scratchy I threw it away as made my skin sore:(

off for a little walk to get some fresh air
  • Roshy - keeping my fingers crossed for you,

    I have a couple of uu's today:
    molton brown lilli pilli shampoo - I bought this forvever ago and part-payed with a £10 voucher, (normal price £17.50), this bottle has lasted for ages, lathers well and smells lovely however I don't think I'd be tempted to buy it again as there are other brands which are much cheaper and equally as good;

S&G scrub of your life - this was part of the 'all around her' gift that my OH bought for me, (bless him :happyhear) it's lovely and scrubby and I would buy again if it wasn't for all the other scrubs I have in the stash!

off stash shopping to pick replacements for these uu's,

    happy pampering, xx

Now I have the dilemna of having lots of Body lotion and butter and being about to run out of hand cream - is there really such a difference or can I just use the body stuff for my hands??

My hands are good at the moment, due to the way I apply lotions and butters, I think, I use the backs of my hands as well as fingers to rub in. I would be more inclined to use a butter, rather than a lotion for hand use only, hands take a pounding at this time of year and lotions just aren't rich enough.

Two chuck out's: A lip gloss and plumper (can't remember brand) that was a lovely colour (sorta frosted coffee, but pinky frosted coffee) and was dire to put on, like liquid glue. WIBA - I'm never buying any of these gluey glosses again. What a pain they are. I had visions of having my lips covered in insects whilst cycling in the summer.

Also chucked BS 100 ml Vitamin E facial spray, pump bottle. Bought on a red-hot summer's day a few years ago. Kept the bottle, removed label and decanted the 50 ml of Gum Swisshhh! Leave in Detangler that I had left into it, so that is one less large bottle in bathroom. WIBA? No, used it 2/3 times at most. Waste of money and just as refreshing to spray water on a hot face.
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.

2 UU FCUK Pure Body Lotion, and the matching Showerscrub. WIBA? Yes. I loved these minis and once I've got to the bottom of the stash I'll definitely be considering these in full size, but that's months (years?:rotfl:) away yet. The Body Wash is almost gone too, I used it as a bubble bath and also washed the bits of me that don't get scrubbed, I reckon when I have a quick swipe of the important little places tonight it'll be gone :D

Next minis are the Elle McP set I got for £2 in Boots 75% off sale. Had a sniff of the butter just now and not impressed, but it seems nice and thick. I'll let u know.

Out - a sample of the most recent Britney perfume - very fruity - nice enough, but won't buy it!

And an in, I'm afraid - I needed a pair of scissors for a broken nail, and Tesco had a manicure set on sale reduced to clear for £1, so I bought it, since it was only about 20p more expensive than the scissors alone would have been. So that's another hand cream for the stash!

Best wishes to all thread ladies who are feeling a little fragile.
