PRCP = Pink Rose Candle Philosophy - basically use the lovely stuff now, today, don't hesitate. Read Mc29's sig.

Erma Bombeck: "If I had my life to live over ..I would have burned the pink candle sculpted like a rose that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' or 'for a special occasion'. Every day is special. Cherish it and make it so.

    Thank you :)

I'm trying to go through my things still and my cupboard is taunting me :(
I've only done one shelf so far, with three boxes (I take plastic mouldings out of perfume gift set boxes and use them to store much more). Oh boy :(

I'm scared not of my own shadow, but of my own nail varnishes and eyeshadows

hi I have some use ups to report.

Shwarzkopf xxl chocolate blonde hair dye-This was 20p from a boots clearance and it didn't work so WNBA but the conditioner has left my hair nice and silky soft.I usually use feria and have a box in the cupboard for my next attempt.

Body shop mini sweet lemon bodyscrub and shower gel-I like the scrub more than the shower gel but will probably buy both again .Still have the mini body butter to use up though.

some INs for me clinique eye defining eyeliner and rinse off cleanser + gwp
accessorize eyeshadow pallette, eyelashes and lipgloss
I'm quite impressed with the accessorize makeup range and the packaging. The set was only £4.99 with nice eye colours that I will be able to use.
    Love can tame the wildest

Remembered! The Clinique eye depuffing massage thing. I have one. I love the way it feels on my eyes, but its only this week been remembering to use it at least once a day, so not sure if its made a difference, though one eye is definitely less puffy than this time last year, and less than other eye!

Could you tell me the name of the Clinique eye puffing item as I am always on the look out for new eye products for under eye puffiness - especially as spring will be here soon and I know it will only get worse!

I love it too - maybe we could adopt it for this thread only!

One UU. Decleor Aromessence Neroli 5ml. WIBA - yes probably as part of a set as it smells amazing but I am trying to use up my serums (have a full size iris still to use). Then I will try not to use a serum at all under my moisturiser - not sure if it actually does anything beneficial.

Have been using my Liz earle Aftersun today with lavender and Aloe vera in it to soothe some hives rashes on my legs and torso. Has helped with the burning feeling and some antihistamine has stopped the itching. Bit fed up as I have had chronic hives (urticaria) for nearly three years and have not had a flare up for ages - even came off the meds in January. I was all geared up to tell my consultant immunologist in April that I was fully better and that I've come off the tablets etc. and now it seems it's still there:wall:

Might have to go "shopping in my stash" to cheer me up.:)

I do that too!! I have an auntie who is a hoarder of all sorts of things which she keeps in boxes all over the place (runs in the family!), and every now and then, she goes off to have "treasure showers" which is what she calls it when she goes off to open random boxes and get all excited at looking at things she had forgotten she had! :rotfl:

I used the mouldy shampoo bar and seemed ok, I scrubbed off the offending bits first :o, my hair smells nice!

Oh Bev, I do feel for you. Thirty or so years ago I had a horrific break out of urticaria, it turned out to be caused by the Pill, of all things. As far as I know, it's the only allergy I had, but I've never used HRT for that reason. I worked it out for myself when the rash disappeared when I came off the Pill for a week then came back. It's so distressing and I'm glad your meds are working, but you must be pretty fed up. Hug!

It's called Clinique All About Eyes Serum - de-puffing eye massage.

I find I have to use a serum under my moisturiser. I did go without when I'd finished my EL Ideallist and was trying an Elemis moisturiser from a gift set, but my skin used to start feeling really tight. Found a no7 p&p sample and used that under the same moisturiser and it felt much better. I do sometimes skip serum if I'm in a rush, but my skin definitely feels more hydrated when I use both together.

95 and counting. And that's not even three shelves :(

I hope you feel better soon Bev :grouphug:

i dont htink it matters who'se mascara you take in - or what size it is?? (havent done it though)

I took a big Benefit Bad Gal with me when I did the mascara swap just after Christmas and the girl at the Clinique counter took it. There were loads of different brands in the donation box as well.

No Glamour magazine for me yet either, mine is always late though so it might come tomorrow or Tuesday. The eye cream is the only thing I want though, which guarantees I won't get it.

Re: body scrub, I use mine every three days, but I tend to get patches of dry skin anyway (I had eczema when I was little and whilst it has died down I still have a tendency to get dry bits, especially on my arms and legs) so probably need it more frequently.

Also just a quick question about Give and Make Up - does anyone know if they take nail varnish? I have a couple of bottles that I've used once or twice but don't really like them so figured they could go to a good cause, although the website doesn't say if they do...

I second the question re: nail varnish. I just counted 58 total :o That does include mini's and base/top coats
I'm so tired already. I'm not buying Glamour unless I can find it with the make-up remover. That has got to be the only thing I need :o
