Lyndseydee I'm really sorry to hear that
I hope you're ok and *huge hugs* to you (I'd use dodgy group hug but mobile doesn't like extra smaller windows much
) And pampering does help. keeping me going in conjunction with you guys and my best friend.
Kaz, I totally love your dining room and cat!
I've already forgotten half of what I wanted to say. Losing it.
UU L'Occitane hand cream fleur de cherie. Forgot this one was almost done til was at work today, realised I finished one yesterday, then luckily found this. My hands are awful where I'm in and out of cold outdoors and warm indoors at work. WIBA? Not sure. Didn't like the scent as much as the others by them. next is a shea butter one I think.
received my epilator from BzzAgent today, and it came with shaving gel. So technically one in.
Need eye makeup remover soon. didn't get on with no7, didn't remove waterproof stuff unless I really rubbed eyes. Same with UD one. Benefit one was better, but clinique my favourite so far. Any suggestions? Which L'Or!al one do you guys use. I tried one but wasn't too keen on it

Remembered! The Clinique eye depuffing massage thing. I have one. I love the way it feels on my eyes, but its only this week been remembering to use it at least once a day, so not sure if its made a difference, though one eye is definitely less puffy than this time last year, and less than other eye!

Hi Sawan, glad you're feeling a bit better! Personally I like to use one of the two following eye makeup removers, either this Garnier Makeup Dissolver:
http://www.boots.com/en/Garnier-2-in-1-Make-up-Dissolver-Eyes-and-Face-Sensitive-Skin_867945/
(it says it's a make up dissolver in general, rather than just for eyes, but I tend to only use it on my eyes)
or this Johnsons product:
http://www.boots.com/en/Johnsons-Daily-Essentials-Gentle-Eye-Make-Up-Remover-for-All-Skin-Types-100ml-_1110431/
They both work in similar ways - there are two liquids and you need to shake the bottle before use - but I find them both really effective. I don't have to rub my eyes at all, just dampen a cotton wool pad with the mixture, hold it over my eyes for a few seconds and wipe my makeup off! I don't use waterproof mascara though so I'm not sure how they would hold up with that.
Hugs to lyndseydeeHope you are pampering yourself!
Off to have a bath now, excited about 'christening' the bath here - I've been too busy to have one before! I will prematurely report a UU - a Lush Ex Factor ballistic.Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

I received my Glamour magazine with the Clinique gift :j but got the mascara, which I don't need as I swapped 2 old mascaras at the Clinique mascara exchange at Debenhams last month.
Had hoped I'd get the mosituriser.
Hi, would you post a list of the freebies due with this mag. I can't remember but am hoping there's an eye cream in that selection. I'm the same with mascaras at the mo. I ordered one from Avon a couple of weeks ago but then got the message from my lady that the order had not gone through properly so went and bought myself a Clinique one. My daughter (who has seen the Avon lady this week) says that the order did arrive after all so she's going to have to return that one. I will order a brown from her though.thevicster wrote: »VALM - loving the sound of the OPI black shatter - I think Barry M do a similar one too, so might pick one or the other up!
I didnt know Barry M did one. I was trying to hold out until a work colleague could get me a bottle from Sallys but it looks like it's selling out everywhere and I know Sallys had problem keeping stock of the Christmas lacquers in so figured I wouldn't get one from there at all. The bottle I got was the last one in JL.Need eye makeup remover soon. didn't get on with no7, didn't remove waterproof stuff unless I really rubbed eyes. Same with UD one. I'm using the L'Oreal Gentle Eye Make Up Remover (Pro Vitamin Formula) as recommended by the lovely ladies on MSE. It's great and definitely is a HG. Is the same colour and consistency as the Gatineau Floracil one but unlike that one it actually works and removes everything.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

I've UU an Olive bubble bath that I was using as a handwash in the kitchen. I can now put out a House of Fraser handwash and hand lotion set which means that the two handwash sets I had for Xmas are now both in use
.
I've also UU a sachet of Avon Advanced Techniques Lotus Shield Frizz Control. WIBA? Maybe. I got two uses out of the sachet; the first time I uu two thirds and found it difficult to style my hair with the amount of product that I had applied. It also resulted in a bad hair day as I couldn't style my fringe properly. Having said that, it did the job in keeping any frizz in check. I uu the rest of the sachet a few days later and this time rubbed it through my fingers before applying it to my hair and I avoided the fringe and crown area. This was much better, again I had no frizz and I had a good hair day!0 -
Haven't been able to work things out at all. We did start going to counselling but then I found out something that made me think why were we bothering.
Anyway, things are quite amicable, well we're not talking to each other much, but better that always arguing with each other.
Just trying to make the best of a bad situation and do what's best for me, one of which should be to do more pampering :rotfl:
Sorry to hear this Lynseydee but glad to hear that you are looking after yourself.0 -
Love and hugs to Lyndseydee and Sawan, continuing strength to you both. Loving Kaz's room, but especially Willow the cat, and I'm not a cat person though I do love all things great and small.
I've just read the small print on the Clairol Foam hair colour. You shouldn't wash your hair on the day of the application - it's applied to dry hair - and it recommends 25 minutes, but elsewhere it says 'up to 45'. Hmmm.
I always leave my dyes on for a bit longer -45 rather than 25 and 25 for the Perfect 10. This backfired with L'Excellence Darkest Brown when I ended up black, but otherwise it works well. I certainly don't believe for one minute that 10 minutes is enough for a permanent hair colour.
I know this is really, really picky but there is a spelling mistake on the box- it annoys me when huge companies can't be bothered to get the little things right. There's a grammatical error on the OS shower gels bottles too - it does irk me!Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
Thanks for the hugs, they're sorely needed. Sundays are the worst - used to be 'our' day from the v beginning when I met him. But now Sundays are for clearing out my room and going shopping. I thought it was just me! :rotfl: Drives me mad. Thought I was mad to let it grate me so much!
