I wasn't impressed with these either. I think I've seen the same comment on here from someone else. At least the gift sets give you a chance to try new stuff out that you wouldn't otherwise buy.catslovelycats wrote: »I donated my embarrassingly large 'collection' of soap (far too much for me to use up) to a local refuge a couple of months ago. Although a clinic is cited online as their contact address I was told not to deliver them there and that someone would collect them from my work place and so agreed this by email.
(They never got back to me about this, but I trust that the fact my soap is no longer at reception means that they came and took it. I never heard anything by way of thanks, so for all I know someone at reception could have pinched it! I know we don't do things for the thanks, but I was a bit disappointed that I didn't get a thank you email - especially considering that my soaps were posh ones!:rotfl:)
I know what you mean. I have donated a lot of stuff in my massive de-clutter over the past few years. Receiving a thank you makes such a difference - often the charity volunteers get a bit weary I think and forget this nicety. I'm on the other side of this now I do voluntary work and I always make sure to say thank you and make sure people know how much their donations are appreciated. I also home kittens and always make the people know how grateful I am them came to our charity and not a pet shop. It makes them feel good and I hope appreciated (and hopefully more likely to come back.)UU a Time Delay face wash! My last one. :T I used to have a stockpile of these from the £5 vouchers. :rotfl: Now on to the Olay ones....
Oh! Those were the good old days before that horrid exclusion on cleansers!! I have 3 Olay ones and find them really nice - even the bf uses it!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Was it just lying in the box, or in bag itself under box? Not that I want to use it of course.!/QUOTE]
I may be mistaken and it might of been in the S & G Vanity Case?! Either way I got two of em so might have to use the other one to!
!
The voucher was in another gift set not the toteCould you not buy the Clinique GWP and buy lots of Glamour magazines next week instead?
Don't throw out dried up mascaras, keep them for when Clinique do the mascara swop thing again:)
Where's Tara? Is this the week she was going on hols?
Have a good weeked everyone,
She's probably in the Body Shop - she fessed up on the BS thread to 5 vouchers! :rotfl:They didn't work in NI though (unfair) so as she has family in the UK we think she has chartered an easyjet to get all her stuff home! Not been on the thread for a few days and its just taken all morning just to catch up, this must be the busiest thread on MSE. AND THE BEST!! :T
Got my full body wax done earlier in the week, paid £10 off KGB deals last month, never been professionally waxed before and no where near as bad as expected, maybe because I have been epilating most areas recently  The strangest part was having my eyebrows and top lip threaded - really weird, but good sensation, always wondered how they did this and so quick. Not sure if I will pay to be waxed again depends if any more deals come up. To be honest I dont have that much hair to wax, according to the beautician, considering I was told not to remove any hair until my appointment which was made almost 3 weeks prior.
You are brave!! I had a massive reaction to threading and scars for several weeks after - such a sensitive flower!
I like the re-naming suggestions, lots of us fell of the wagon this month, me included, but not to a great extent moneywise.
I honestly think March will be better....it has to be.....
Also tempted in Wilko's with the 10p stuff, bought 3 items, aftershave balm, which is to go to DS, magic mitt to try on my newly waxed bits when the regrowth starts and a body spray - so 30p spend.
Ditto previous comment from other poster - 10p Stuff!! Must avoid Wilkos!
I also bought a deal for a fish pedicure - not sure if that counts as an in as nothing added to my stash - have always wanted to try this.
Oh now this I can't wait to hear about - please report back!!!
.
Right, I'm caught up now. I love all the posts, they are such fun reading (as I'm watching Glee!!)
Had a nice day out with friends. Was planning to buy BS face serum with my voucher but tried a few today and NOT impressed. The only other one I've tried (and like) is No. 7 perfect and protect or something - and I have a voucher - unless anyone else has a better recommendation? They are pricey arent' they - do they really benefit??:cool:Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!

Spent pretty much the whole of today moving my stuff into the spare room and now I ache from head to foot. I would try a soak in the bath but I don't have the energy or the muscle power to move from the bed, although it would help me in using stuff up :rotfl:Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

Wondering why face wipes are so popular? They aren't good for your skin, use cleanser and toner instead people. Save the wipes for occasional use
No major glitches have come up on the boots thread so that should make it easier not to buy in March.
I've seen that Clinique eye serum Rosemary bought, it looks like the garnier one that sells really well.Total debt 11/1/2011 €5350.65Total debt 12/12/12 €3222.31CrazyClothesChallenge 2013 #006 €34.08/€5000 -

Hi all, new stash-tragedy to report from a newbie... (true pink candle moment), just opened a tub with lush soaps and a shampoo bar (my favourite!) only to find out theres mould growing on them ... should i throw them away or would they be ok if I cut off the affected sides? Good lesson to self, as I was about to give in to 3 for 2 offers in Boots
Worst thing is, I've been putting off using the Lush shampoo until I finish a massive bottle of not very nice shampoo I got from TK maxx ages ago... (I took it as my penitence trying to use that one before moving on to something I DO like!).
Anyway, well done everyone for resisting, and I envy the purchases of those of you who've fallen off the wagon0
