Quick UU to post - my Avon Senses Shower Gel in Sunset - WIBA? I already have one in my stash anyway, and the fragrance is discontinued, but the shower gels are really nice so I almost certainly will buy again at some stage. As they are often on offer for around 99p for a 250ml bottle they are quite :money: too.
Now going on to the BS Moringa one which smells absolutely wonderful!
Off to visit a friend for the weekend now so will hopefully have at least one, and possibly more, mini-UU's to report when I'm back on Sunday! have a good weekend all!

I am feeling a bit guilty now with only definitely giving my henna to Give and Make Up, but I'm struggling to decide what else to put in - am definitely leaning towards the cranberry, cherry and hemp Body Shop shower gels and a few make-up bits, and maybe a Boots hair mask and my Hugo Boss body lotion, plus the few samples I've got when I can retrieve them from London, but it still doesn't feel like enough.
And on a ridiculously silly emotional level, I'm struggling to let it go. It's difficult because whilst I know all the practical reasons for getting rid of it this way - it's going to a great cause and it means I won't have as much stuff to take to London - I still feel a bit too attached to it all. *is clearly a bad person*

I know what you mean Minerva - I couldn't let my OS shea butter and honey shower cream go. I won't be buying any more OS shower gels or creams for this year and that just left me with my OS Lemon and Tea Tree and OS 2 in 1 (allegedly for men) Orange and Ginger Hair and Body Wash. I love the OS stuff and the shea butter and honey is gorgeous. So out of the box it came.

Minerva, I sometimes feel like this when I bag up stuff for the charity shop and then by the next day I never even give the stuff a second thought. I just feel liberated by the space and glad that I've been able to help the charity when cash is tight by giving in kind rather than cash. But I only give away stuff that I don't want/need/love any more. I'm certainly not a martyr!!
Even if you only put in one thing, that is still wonderful and that one thing will be loved!
Mind you, I've got to put my bag of stuff together tonight so I may feel differently then!! :rotfl:
Wondering if I should have got another 4 x BS vouchers to use and send to them....:rotfl: sooooo glad that offer is closed!!!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -

Oh Rosemary L'occitane CS sound great. You probably know L'occitane are doing a TSV on QVC tonight from midnight and all day tomorrow -not that keen on it myself as a think it is this with probably £5.95p&p. Think it is £41.12 give or take a few pounds not such a great TSV
http://images-p.qvc.com/is/image/uk/2/10/221810.001I've been too 'scared' to sign up to this challenge but have been watching it!
Still not ready to commit but have forced myself into not buying anything I already have. i.e No more BS Body Butter as I have about 20 already etc.
However, my lovely Mother bought me a online visa giftcard for my birthday yesterday and I've just gone a spent all £25 of it on the Lush website:money:.
Think I might have to commit to this challenge properly from March. Trouble is I've got boxes of smellies up in the attic as I ran out of room in the bathroom so I don't even know where to start!pinkandwhites wrote: »Hi everyone, I used to do this challenge last year but kind of fell of the wagon. I definately need to start again thanks to my birthday, and Christmas, and mostly thanks to my out of control spending!
I came online to check out the thread, thinking of joining at the start of March but reading about Give and Makeup makes me want to join in right now by sorting out a box or two. I think its an excellent cause and I have always wanted to help something like that, but have never known how to go about it. I have got tons of gwp size toiletries and make up, and also tons of sample sachets. Do you think they would be ok, or are full size things more useful? I have just requested the label - how long does it take to come through? I would like to post it tomorrow so I might be pm-ing you in the morning Mcculloch29 if I haven't heard anything.
Off to sort out some goodies! Bye for now x
Welcome pinkandwhites and shjo558:hello:this is a lovely thread and has really helped me curb my toiletries spending and find things that I had forgotten I'd bought.0 -

Hmm I know what you mean, I've looked at what others are giving and think that I haven't put enough together, although I know that I have loads. I'm sure that whatever we give will be appreciated and it is going to a great cause. I pulled out a couple of items that were going to go into the bin because I don't like them but someone else may do.
So far, I have a Mitchum deodrent, some cleansing wipes, a no 7 bath soak, a white tea body lotion & shower gel, time delay cleanser, tesco straightening cream, a next foam bath, a beautilicious hand creme and then minis/ sachets of sanctuary bath foam, simple face mask, foot cream, tresemme shampoo & conditioner, elvive shampoo, charles worthington volume spray and olay flawless skin cream.
I have a bourjois foundation with a pump, and I have only used it once because it's the wrong shade for me, is it okay to put in?
Also some No7 nail varnish and lipgloss?
It's not costing me much to put together but I know that these toliteries that we buy and dismiss, will be greatly appreciated and I'm glad that I am able to do a little thing to help these women.0 -
Well thanks for the Give and Make Up link ladies, have just sorted out a parcel that is about 2kg of things that i would be happy to give people but not my favourites - I feel so virtuous and it has given me much more pleasure than forcing myself to use stuff up!! Plus I now don't feel at all bad about the BS voucher - in fact i don't really have much of a stash, just a couple of extra things, wll carry on using up before I buy more though!
Have posted the link on facebook so hopefully some of my friends will make a parcel too.

Thanks all. I've decided that my parcel is definitely the henna, the cranberry and hemp body washes, a couple of make-up bits, some face wipes (I have used a couple out of the pack but not loads of them so presumably this is OK) and possibly a few other things depending what I can dig out. I'll also make up a small samples package once I'm in London and send those off to them too.
I have also shared the link on another forum I go on and will tweet/blog about it later tonight."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -

Yes it says that items that have been "lightly used" are fine and suggests that if you were happy to pass it along to a friend then it is suitable.
I have emailed them for my label and I'm now just waiting on a reply. So far I know that I will be donating my Burts Bees Body lotion and lip balm which are both brand new. I will need to have a good rumage around and see what else I can add in.

I'm still waiting on one, so pm'd mcculloch29 for one as I still haven't received an email from them. Maybe it'll come along later then. Thought they might shut at 5.30.No buying unnecessary toiletries/makeup in May: Unnecessary spend £17.60
