I'm delighted to be able to announce a stack of UU's!!! (takes a little bow...:D)
1 x Tesco bubble bath (WIBA? No - still about 50 in the garage from the H&B days - nice product though)
1 x Dove roll on - WIBA? yes, it's my fave.
One Right Guard Deo Spray Can - WIBA? NO! Awful stuff - doesn't work that well and absolutely stinks. Never again. The remaining stash is going to the next car boot!
1 x HE Shampoo & 1 x Conditioner - WIBA? Yes but bored with the smell for now and have John Frieda lined up...and Charles Worthington and...about another 5 years worth of stash.:o0 -
Oh and I'm also pleased to say I've resisted all the wipes offers and things in Boots in the last week or so. The fact that it was hammering down with rain all week made it much easier to resist going0

Disability interests forum, I had several responses from people who often got given toiletries they couldn't use, due to medical conditions - and some who couldn't use toiletries at all.
I posted about Give and Make Up over on Ouch! and it's gone down well.
I thought this post was an absolute cracker.
As a resident of a domestic violence refuge some years ago, I remember the monthly box of goods that a well-known pharmaceutical company used to send (their factory was nearby - most refuges don't get this).
This meant so much - restored a little dignity, and it was touching that some people gave a damn. Receiving a hair brush, shampoo, and soap meant that me and my child (who had to keep going to school) could regain an ounce of self respect.
(I, like others, had no money for a long time in the refuge. Sadly had to rely on income support, which took a few weeks to come through: didn't like having benefits, but it wasn't safe for me to go to work, as my partner used to try to find me there. Won't go into the ineffective nature of police in preventing such activities... And refuges usually don't have spare cash for toiletries, etc.)lizziebabe wrote: »Come to think of it - didn't we have a chap on board somewhere ?
Where has he gone
I think he was scared off by our love fest :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Ebay free listing this weekend!
Thanks for the heads up, I've sold a bronzer and now for the life of me can't find it in the house  think i'll have to throw in a freebie to make up for the delay
I did have a UU yesterday - a can of Asda's own deo - I really like the scent of this, but a couple of days I think it wasn't as effective as it has been in the past (don't worry, not smelly, but would get a slight whiff of, not sweat but - i can't really describe it lol - every now and again, but that was when I was out and could have been any old random!) I've moved onto a boots expert stick deo that has been in my stash for a couple of years but does the job very well from memory but is not scented. Think I picked these up for 25p on clearance!
I will be UU that hair treatment masque tonight!!! WIBA Well....it lasts well!! From memory it is the Boots Naturals (?) Honey and Jojoba in a tub. It's nice enough but you have to be careful to wash it out as it seems to sometimes stick around on the hair longer than it should IYSWIM. I spend the same amount of time and effort (I think!!) in washing conditioner out of my hair so know when it feels clean, but on occasion I have had to give it another wash after I've dried it  but it is very nourishing!
I also will be UU that Mango BS BB tonight or it will die trying :rotfl: WIBA I like the smell of it, and love Solero's so that's probably why :rotfl: but I prefer the brazil nut one and will buy some when I've finished the rest in the stash.
I will be chucking the last c.50ml of the BD Raspberry puree body lotion I have on my desk as a handcreme as I already have one of these pump bottles in the car, in case anyone wants to use moisturiser/handcreme etc. T he smell is nice but gets a bit much after a while0 -
UU to report!
Boots Extracts Almond Body Wash 50ml.
WIBA? Maybe. Don't get me wrong, it was very nice: a sweet almond scent that felt great on the body and lathered nicely, but there are scents I prefer out there. It's not a HG for me, but it's still very nice. Please call me 'Pickle'
No More Buying Books: ???

A Non Bought In to report: The Nice And Easy Foam Party! :j:j:j
Having posted about this here originally, it would have been SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ironic if I hadn't got one! But I did!
That's karma, as I sent my two pound shop dyes to Give And Make Up. I've given one voucher to my daughter. Not sure who will get the other.
Here's the email addy for the label for Give and Make Up. It's not the first posting on the blog, but a little way down - blog entry of Feb 1st.
As part of their continuing commitment, BeautyBay.com will be offering FREE postage on all Give and Make-Up donations until 1st March 2011.
BeautyBay.com will supply a free delivery label to stick to all parcels, simply email online.marketing@beautybay.com to receive a copy.
Note: these labels will have a 2kg weight limit so if you’re sending more than 2kg, please split in to suitable weighted parcels.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... Thanks for that mcculloch29, puts our overbuying into perspective a bit doesn't it. Have got my label and am looking forward to making a box up at the weekend, could you put things in for children too do you think?
Yes, the refuges are for women and children and I'm sure kids' toiletries will be really welcome.
Welcome to all newbies!
I had a thought - if you would like to post goodies to Give and Make Up and get the parcel in the post this weekend, I would be happy to email out the pdf (Adobe Acrobat document) returns label if it hasn't arrived.
Just pmm me your email. I promise I won't misuse your email addy and won't keep you as a contact (unless you want me to).Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... UU- Boots Botanics Radiant Red Shampoo. WNBA. There was nothing radiant about my colour when using this, the colour has faded so fast, I'm really disappointed. The matching conditioner was hideous so thats been binned. Now onto a sulphate/paraben/silicone free set from Body Shop.0
