  • Hi All,

I've got two more UU's to report - a Temple Spa Soothing Balm for Aching Legs & Feet (30ml) - WIBA? yes - but not sure where to get it from (may try internet search - when I've finished my stash!) Umberto Giannini Blow Dry Cream (50ml) WIBA? probably not - was not overkeen on texture - but seemed to work.

  • UU montagne jeuness sauna face mask - WIBA - maybe but I have a tube of No7 sauna mask in the stash.

UU Clinique firming body smoother sample tube GWP - Its a nice cream but not sure it did anything else.
  • Hi all, Happy Sunday!

Congrats to SJP on your new arrival!

One UU - the Clinique Moisture surge extra facial gel, which I ended up doing a body moisturise with as it set my skin off after three days. WIBA? Not now I know what it does to my skin. I have two splutterers too - Olay trail size cream and a travel size Sanctuary bath foam.

I had a cupboard built into an alcove in the bathroom, rather than the few little shelves I had. Now I have six shelves of stuff, and a plastic storage crate I have to store elsewhere. I've tried to decant everything I can into those two places, but things do have a habit of turning up in odd places.
Some days, it's just not worth chewing through the leather straps....

Little uu for me today, sample size P&P serum which came with the gwp make up bag. wiba? no, it felt really nice going on but then my skin felt really tight and after a few days started to go dry and flaky. Stopped using it and it cleared up straightaway. Finished if off as hand cream. Was I using it wrong, should you put moisturiser over the top??

  • congrats sjp on ur arrival :)
    where do i store stuff?
got an shelf that runs along the wall in the bathroom ,a small cupoard on the wall- i keep shampoos on top of it and a 3 drawer storage unit.
in my bedroom i have 2 of those johnsons baby boxes with the insides taken out(one with makeup palettes the other filled with sanctuary and other body butters)a box that my no7 mirror came in filled up with random bits and bobs,a big multi purpose storage container with makeup(i have shown pics before) and another 3 drawer unit(only use 2 drawers for perfume) oh i also have a silver box that straightners came in i use for lush and a random tub which i try and keep the products i am using in. oh and an estee lauder makeup case filled with nail polish and a pencil case with day to day makeup OMG!! this looks really bad lol
wd be quite happy if i could get it down to the 2 johnsons boxes and the multi storage container and only products currently using in bathroom...
thought of a use for my boots voucher-going to stock up on hairdye does anyone know if boots has any on offer at the moment?

  • I store all my stash in one of the drawers under my bed. Unfortunately it is all buckled to heck because of the weight

The stuff I am using tends to live in the bathroom on an undersink rack and on a trolley in my bedroom. I try to have one of each thing open at a time apart from perfume which I like to alternate.

Lyndsey dee what an amazing stash! This thread puts my little-ish stash in context :p

I think the RRP thing is important because some things are lovely, but just that wee bit too expensive to buy regularly or for yourself. I am lucky that my friends buy me nice bits for birthdays/christmas such as L'occitane or philosophy. When it comes down to it, I don't mind paying for a really good product but if I'm not convinced then I don't like parting with my cash!

My philosophy pefume is spluttering so hopefully another uu this week. have a good week :)

Throwaway - BS White Musk Too body lotion. I was reluctant to get rid of this, as its the perfume/lotion I always wore when pregnant with my little boy who died when he was born. The smell always used to bring back memories, but sadly it must've gone off as it now smells horrible! Discontinued so can't restock.

That's very poignant Pudsey, I am sending you a big hug. I agree, smells are so evocative and can transport us back to a far away time and place in an instant xoxoxo

That sounds so pretty :D I wish I could do something like that in our bathroom but TBH the dog would eat it :( Last week betwen them they destroyed OH's rubber duck family - one of them had to have actually climbed in the bath to get it

LOL!!! Love the fact that your OH has (well, had) a rubber duck family, cutest thing I've read today! :):):)

p.s. sunshineyday, I too love your cake stand in the bathroom idea, how very pretty! :)

Tara, I never meant to make anyone feel sad about what I said :o

I think the reason mainly is he wouldn't get the same salary as he's on now for the type of work he does, whereas I would probably do just about any job just to live back down in Cornwall, within reason of course :rotfl:

Awww. IMHO quality of life is worth more than a good salary and it seems that you are of the same opinion... having said that, I know that Cornwall has become more expensive to live in recently, so it's tricky. Shame houses are so dear in scenic places that the locals can't even afford to buy them on the average local salary! :(

If his only objection is concern that you may not be able to afford it, I think you will be able to talk him round someday. :)

Oooh, I forgot to say, in one of the Sanctuary gift bags I have been working my way through was a scented candle, which I lit last night! It burned out in about three hours, and you couldn't smell a thing. Went back to my cheapie Ikea Vanilla candle pots.

Possibly an addendum to Erma Bombeck? 'Don't save the scented candle - it might not be very good anyway' :rotfl:

:grouphug: slightly rude group hug to all on Valentine's Day. I am sure this action is an arrestable offence in most counties.
