DD1 wanted to go and see that - unfortunately the subtitled showing was at a ridiculous time, so we couldnt make it. Sounds like we didnt miss much then!!EssexHebridean wrote: »This is the Dry Skin SOS, yes? I can't understand it being discontinued either - it's my HG intensive hand cream! Please tell me you didn't pay more than about £1.50 per tube for it though as it will be coming through clearance in a few campaigns time....
I believe its in Campaign 7 for £1.00 but.............unless I'm wrong, its only in the book for Avon sellers which is soooo not fair!
I paid £4.78 for the 3 tubes - which I can live with.XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX:wave:XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX0 -
Ins........
- P&P dy and night cream, but a "legal" in as have been without for a couple of weeks and making do!
- 4 x bargain dove deos with the boots voucher only £1.40 in total.....justifiable on too good to miss grounds, I think you'll agree. Haven't bought deo for a year thanks to the Dove glitch this time last year (is it a coincidence or a marketing ploy?...suspecting the latter!)
- Natural Collection clear mascara to tame my brows...thanks for the earlier tips ladies! £1.99
Night all!
PS where's Kaz?0 -

SJP - love the way you so casually reported you have had a baby girl and then listed your toiletries misdemeanours!! I had to read the comments from the other people to be sure you'd actually given birth (especially as I call my cat my little princess!) -
I had to do the same too! Congratulations SJP!0 -

I haven't seen the movie but I read the book a few years ago and it was one of the most miserable things I've ever read0 -
For some reason this thread has disappeared from my subscription list.
It's only the fact I'm reporting a UU that I realised it has 'done'....
UU anothe tub of BS vitamin E face moisteriser
It's my usual monthly UU
WIBA? defo but still have 2 pots to get through. Or maybe it's 3...0 -
1 UU last night to report - Clarins Smoothing Body scrub for a new skin, WIBA? No way, this one was not "scrubby" enough for me. Have now moved on to my HG body scrub, LE's Energising body scrub.
Enjoy your SundayNo toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
Boots points:£39.21. Extra money in 2012:£674.59. In 2013 £603.48. 2014: £85. 2015: £0 :j0 -
885 products???? Hubby would kill me.....
Just been reading about Foxy-Lady over on the grabbit board (Boots offers), she took some bits back to B**ts without a receipt, had the money put on a giftcard then got arrested for return fraud.... (she is accused of stealing the goods then taking them back!) its shocking, peeps could lose their jobs for stuff like this hanging over their heads....
I really feel for her.....
I've been reading this too. horrified. I returned some ponds cleanser to boots on Friday without a receipt, I went to the shelf first to see how much it was and then found something i wanted to exchange it for. Never crossed my mind that they'd think I'd just picked it up, never even crossed my mind that people would do this in the first place. After reading this and thinking about it it seems obvious to me now that people will pick it up and then pretend they've bought it earlier. Will be wary of returning without a receipt in future. The devil makes works for idle hands0 -
Wow - I thought I loved shower gel! Would like to know the size of bottles - hope they are not all litre size ones:eek:
. I added up all the mls of shower that I had unopened once - sad I know:o - but helped me not to buy anymore and now if I do feel tempted I only buy 75 - 100mls bottles (travel sizes). But I am doing well and resisting so far even though L'occitane are launching a new Plum Blossom range soon -which I know I will love:(
No UU's but did give my friend the Boots Royal Jelly trio of creme bath, shower cream and body lotion (100ml sizes) as she had run out! Can you believe it some people actually run out of shower gel -
SJP - congratulations on the birth of your baby girl -wonderful news!
Belated birthday wishes aswell to Valm and Trudij
Bye for now.
I know, i was talking to someone Friday who said sorry if I smell like a man but had to borrow hubbies deoderant today because mine has run out. Didn't tell her that I have 17 deoderants stashed away for just such emergencies:rotfl:The devil makes works for idle hands0
