Hi all
Sorry for not posting, but I had my little princess, so been a little busy.....
Tara - Do you have some in's to confess to????
I've sinned - i've been on the grabbit board - purely for noseyness, but ended up buying:
BS - 2 make up bags but got free eyeliner (think this is going in the present stash) so doesn't really count. Coconut body butter (cos i've heard it mentioned on here so many times, so got to give it a try) Hemp hand cream mini.
Savers - (knew joining this thread would have a downside :rotfl:) Tresemme full body shampoo & conditioner 500ml (£3.49) and Vaseline hand lotion mini.
B**ts - oh god  3 x UG Spa Rituals hair exilir (£10) 2 x JF 3 day frizz (£7.50) 2 x Dove bath foam 500ml (£1.50 each) Dove deodrant (72p) Botanics Moisturiser & Eye gel, for hubby (£7.50) he was bought L'Oreal for men at Christmas and likes moisturising, he just didn't like the price yesterday2 x Always (£1)
I'm blaming those on the B**ts offer thread for falling off the wagon...
Congrats on your new baby SJP!!!! :j:j:j How are you getting on? LOL at you not letting something like that get in the way of your Bootsing! :rotfl:
Yes, I do have quite a few INs to confess, including the Olay cream x3 (one to work, one to home, one to mum's lol). Have put it away in my mini toiletries basket that I take on holidays with me. I have also succumbed to a few more things, list to come at the end of the month!!!thevicster wrote: »Congrat SJP!!!!!!
:rotfl:I was wondering the same thing! I asumed it would run out at the end of 21 days but it won't have (although I've stopped using it in the morning as it was soooo greasy!) and it says on the box you should use it every three months. It also says that you can use it UNDER your normal moisturiser if you want...if I did that, my face would be an oil slick . Don't think I will use it again and I love S&G!
You have to use SPF moisturiser over it during the day, it says on the box! Just give it ten minutes to sink in, then out on your day cream. HTH.Dr_Roberto wrote: »no ins/outs to report
question for you all - where do you store your loot of beuty goodies,? I feel I have them taking ovey mf flat , got a container in the bathroom / container in bed room for makeup and drawer of stuff and a bag under my bed!!!
My stash is everywhere! Drawers, shelves, dressing table, pretty boxes, bathroom cabinet, baskets, last year's S&G hatbox and this year's S&G box that came inside the tote bag... then there's my gift cupboard which is bursting at the seams! I am actually afraid to go through it all and list it.:o:o

:eek:I took two packs of their own brand face wipes back this morning, on the off chance they might take them back, no receipt. I bought them on 3 for £3 but really didn't like them (far too dry for my liking). I'm so pleased I went straight up to a sales assistant to ask (who had seen me walk in the shop) and actually said to her I was concerned they might think I'd just picked them up of the shelf:eek::eek:. Anyway there was no problem and I was buying some foundation (which I needed, mine has been on its last legs for ages) and they knocked the £2 off the foundation but reading this just sent chills through me.
Thanks Turtle, I had forgotten to mention that on here as a warning. It really is awful, poor foxy-lady. I am shocked at this story. If I am returning something without a receipt I always do go straight to the counter to show it to them before going off to select another product to exchange, but from now on, I will be showing it to the security guard upon entering the store just to be on the safe side.
Also, SandraScarlett suggested calling CS first to let them know and getting a reference number which you can quote instore when returning the item. I think that this is also a very good idea. I am so angry at Boots over this! :mad:EssexHebridean wrote: »It's the Anew Reversalist Sterling Night Emulsion - its blurb promises just the kind of rubbish I am usually very cynical about - "5 years younger in 14 days" etc, but I have to confess that it looks, and feels as though it might actually be delivering to a large extent!Technically speaking I ought to be using the next age group down - the rejuvenate, but I intend to completely confuse my face by going on to some stuff from that range next! :rotfl:
Without wishing to tempt people by the way - in a couple of campaigns time there are some good deals coming up on "starter packs" of the Anew range - they will be sold at £10 and will contain a 50ml cleanser/wash, a 15ml day cream, a 15ml night cream, and a full size eye cream, and they will also come with a £10 voucher to use off a full size regime set. There will be one set available for each of the four Anew regime ranges. The starter packs would be an excellent chance for anyone who wants to try the range without breaking the bank - the eye creams alone usually sell for £11 - £21 depending on which age group they are!
Oh you naughty girl EH, tempting us with these amazing offers!
... and I've finally caught up. *flops on floor, exhausted*
Remind me never to leave this thread for more than a day as it is so hard to catch up! :rotfl: p.s. I am going on holiday for a week shortly so the thread will be suspended. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

Good news.... I think I can look for a smaller container for my stash! I've been using the s&g tote bag/box thing. But this morning I sorted 2 x Palmers products to give away (yuk, smell is now horrid), plus some other S&G bits. Overall I'm not that impressed with S&G I've not found any of the products to be out of this world, but meh, ok.
So anyway a smaller container for my stash - that's good right?!!! Woo-hoo, yay!
Bad news.... my skin is dreadful at the moment. Spots galore, lots of stress has caused it. Think I need a pamper later.
Off to update my list.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage

The fact that you only need one container is impressive enough to most of us! I would like to achieve that one day (she says, with a bag full of Boots vouchers and coupons due to expire on 22 Feb). :rotfl:Get to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

*sulks* at least you are allowed to thank people - I feel really bad that I cant when people say nice things and are so helpful !!
I know Tara - half a million quids worth of horseflesh is downright scary... mind you - I work for a vet, so it aint worth that at the moment - not while its brokenhe is gorgeous though....

Day 20 of the month.
Day 51 of the year.
Still haven't bought anything! :j
I am getting low on Cleanser though. (One has run out and the other two are down to their last inch. )
I am also getting perilously low on Hair treatments / masks and missing my Elasticizer badly!
My Argan Oil is down to it's last 3/4 of an inch but you use so little of that that it'll probably do me another 3 months!
I've had a Shizen lip balm on it's last nub for about 5 months now! It's a firm formula and you don't use much each time. My Jemma Kidd and Bobbi Brown lippies are all moisturising too so I only use the Shizen at night really.
Storage wise I keep my toiletries in a tall open wooden storage caddy thing. The more I use something, the closer to the top it is.
Make up lives in a big old orange Sanctuary box from a Grabbit glitch from a few years ago in the bathroom next to the window with the great natural light in the mornings.
Spares live in the bottom drawer of my chest of drawers in the bedroom. (I don't have many now!:D)
Footcare, cuticle oil, massage oil and body lotion are on my bedisde table.
Nail polish, files, buffers creams oils and and remover etc live in a drawer in the dining room because that's wear I paint my nails.
That's it.
Have a good week girlies! :beer:Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted. Einstein0 -
Congrats SJP!
UU a Palmolive hand wash, opened an identical one. And I'm afraid I bought the teen mag with the 4 Barry M nail varnishes - love Barry M nail varnish, it stays put far better than those at 4 times the price!0 -

Awww. IMHO quality of life is worth more than a good salary and it seems that you are of the same opinion... having said that, I know that Cornwall has become more expensive to live in recently, so it's tricky. Shame houses are so dear in scenic places that the locals can't even afford to buy them on the average local salary!
If his only objection is concern that you may not be able to afford it, I think you will be able to talk him round someday.
I know what you mean about house prices. I was looking to move down to Cornwall around 97/98 and even considered buying my mum and dad's old house which was a 2 bedroom fisherman's cottage. The price they were asking (about £48,000) was not much more than what we bought our one bedroom starter home in Newbury. Those houses are now going for about £140,000/£160,000.
Well I intend moving down there one day and the way things are at the moment that may be sooner rather than later.Did owe £9,951.96
