Thanks! I should have known that really lol. getmecoat.gif

Why not try the P&P anyway... if you don't like the first one then eBay the other two, or bring the lot back to Boots for a refund/exchange (don't forget your receipt though!!).

I'm really tempted to buy some of the serum, but i really like the L'Occitane body lotion which is around £17 for 500ml (I think) so buying this would work out cheaper..... I dont have much body lotion/butter in my stash, as its something i've never bothered with...... but having a baby at 37 is making me more conscious of showing my age..... :(

    hmmm decisions decisions

JulieB - thanks fo the heads up on the full size 3 for 2 being better value :T i really shouldn't :p

Better value large sizes on the butter, but almost the same on hand minis (didn't work out other products) - here's my calculations (I'm such a geek!) - I can paste the body butter ones if any other geeks are interested!! Trying to save money as end of pay month and things are really tight - at the tricky part where you have to decide food for tummy vs S&G hand food :rotfl:

Hand food Per 100ml Per pack
    125ml large £3.88 £4.85
    3 packs on 3 for 2 offer i.e 375 ml £2.59 £9.70
    50 ml mini £4.70 £2.35
    3 packs on 3 for 2 offer i.e 150 ml£3.13 £4.70

Minis glitch 6 x 50mls items for £7.05, so £1.18 per 50l item, i.e. £2.36 per 100ml so tiny bit cheaper on hand food but body butter works out other way round - better to buy large items - if you really need 900mls of body butter, LOL.

Sorry tried to edit so this is clearer but can't paste a table here.

Sanctuary Mande Lular Mini Sensuous Bath Crème

I thought it must be bubble bath but looks like souflle i.e. cleanser as it's in a tub?

  • One IN for me - my lovely boyfriend bought me D&G Rose The One perfume for Valentine's *is spoilt* So that's counting as an IN seeing as strictly speaking I don't need it. It smells beautiful though.

  • Bit of a random question for all the lovely people out there.

I'm trying not to buy anything new as have dozens of toiletries however i'm also trying to use what i have economically, i.e. not using way to much of one product just to get rid of it.

My question is how much body scrub do you use in one wash/bath?

I've just used a fist full of the sancutary hawiian body scrub and though i might have gone too far.
(This might also have something to do with the fact that i'm a tad bit lazy and dont tend to work my products in correctly)

    hi all....
Do L'Occitane do refill packs ????
This is something that i need to remember, could anyone recommend a good product for the decollage??

L'Occitane do indeed do refills. Here is a link. The bags contain less than the bottles though which I think is a bit odd - 400mls in them rather than 500ml. I got mine from Cheshire Oaks. I think, from memory, they were £5.80 each as long as you had purchased something else.

    http://uk.loccitane.com/FO/Verbena-Liquid-Soap-Eco-Duo,p95SPECIAL09.htm

JL had a better offer recently though that I took advanrage of - 2 x 500mls of the Verbena for £20.00. Had a quick nosey at their website and it doesn't look like it's on anymore.

Re: decolletege cream the best I've used is Elemis Neck and Bust cream. I've only ever had it in travel sized tubes as it seems to get chucked in with any QVC TSV that I've bought. Would love to buy it itself but its £45.00! Have tried the Dove Pro Age one which did not compare at all.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • A UU to report, Lush big purple bathbomb. WIBA not sure it smelt ok but I prefer the strong girlie ones. Still £20 in the pot now and I resisted my favorite TIGI bargains yesterday:)
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales

hello a UU for me finally - but it's only the Dove sensitive deodrant. I would buy again but don't need to until i've finished abot 4 other cans.
I do have a can of Nivea Pearl deodrant which will be going to my mums to be put in a care package for the soldiers. It gives me a rash so best not to use the second can.
went to a wedding yesterday and had a full face of makeup for the first time since June last year. so that's a tiny bit used of some stuff. It has made me decide to chuck the virgin vie eye cream and gel things i have, my eyelids were so sore, dry and creased. didn't remember until after we'd set off that i should have used my Avon regenerist (?) eye things to try and hide the bags.
  • Just caught up with the thread again, I had to read 10 pages since Thursday or Friday, phew.

Two UU this weekend, a hotel freeby body lotion I have had for years but never got round to using and a GWP size Elemis Active Skin Complex that I used as hand cream since it was so old I didn't want to risk it on my face!

This thread has def encouraged me to use up some random stuff! If I hadn't been doing this challenge they would have just been sitting about for another year!

And no ins for Feb so far :j!! But I have put in a teeny Avon order so will have something next week. Still much better than before I joined the thread though!!
