The first week of this month (chart dated 2 Feb) you posted a 1lb loss which added to your losses the following 2 weeks gives you a Feb total of 6lbs. :)

Ohhh lol, makes sense now. :p

Quick update, not quite ready to jump back into things. Ill health retirement has been approved by ATOS docs. Company are now emailing every office in the country to see if there are any Administration posts or indoor work available. Very unlikely as they are doing away with these posts atm. So I'm trying to hold off the decision until the start of the financial year. Due to WTC and CTC as it will make a huge overpayment on their part.

Can feel my belly expanding by the day, but have talked my daughter into joining me in healthier eating at least. Hoping we'll both be in right set of mind by monday :)

hey mazza hope ur ok. sounds like u've got bigger things to worry about than dieting but nice to hear from you. hope your work thing is sorted soon. good to have your daughter's support :)

having a weird day today - sort of had two breakfasts (or a really early lunch!) - spag hoops on toast and cheese on toast. now not really hungry cos i've basically eaten all my day's food before 12, so just had a yoghurt and banana for lunch.
Spag bol for dinner (SW low fat, lots of veg) and then a trip to the cinema so i'll treat myself to 1 scoop of ben and jerry's since it's friday! :)

weekend plans are pretty low key, so food should be ok. planning on doing some sort of exercise with OH on sunday.. maybe a bike ride if the sun's out

Hi Mazza :-) hope things turn out ok for you

kksweetie - i guess its the biking thats doing it for ya!

I'm aiming to walk 71 miles in 8 days, roughly the same as birmingham to manchester, this is day 7. Sweetcheeks13 and i have done 61 miles up to now, so that means just one more trip to go tomorrow and then will have made it all the way so finally can rest!!!!!
Tomorrow its going to all be canal paths so hopefully should be fairly level and straight forward.

I could murder fish and chips right now :-(

  • Hi Mazza - Hope things turn out the way you want. Good luck with everything, how are your knees at the moment ? Take care of yourself x

kksweety - Well done on the 1/2 stone mark :j Go you :T

Vixarooni - I have to agree with what you say, I like Eric now have my carb/ sweet cravings under control apart from a certain time of the month when I find I could kill for chocolate  but I find I can stop it with a small amount of dark chocolate (Green & Blacks) which I keep for emergency's :o

BrightonBelle - Your wardrobe sounds great, what website did you use to get the idea's from as that is something that would really help me as I am still a walking wardrobe disaster :(

Sary - how are the cakes coming along? it sounds so exciting ;)

Betty - hope the weather is good over the weekend so you can get in your bike ride. It is forecast to rain here all weekend so no such joy for me :(

Puddings - well done on your walking you are doing so well :T

I have had a few really stressful days at work due to having a new computer system :( training was on the weak side to say the least. The final straw was today when all my documents (that I was told had been backed up before it was changed) are not on the USB stick they were put on :mad::mad: That almost sent me straight to the cake shop for a big greasy doughnut  But after a coffee and a Clementine (oh how I have changed!!!!) I managed to calm down, but there is nothing I can do to get my stuff back. Wish I had foreseen this problem and had the sense to back them up myself before I went on holiday......
Oh well work tomorrow then a days break :j:j:j

    Have a good weekend everyone

funny you should mention cravings, came home tonight and my missus had a friend round who i had not seen for about 8 weeks, last year she did one of those dangerous meal replacement diets, lost a tonne of weight then had to stop when her hair started to fall out. Then with a reduced MBR from muscle loss piled it all back on and with interest.

I was chatting to her and some other friends over crimbo and explained about trying to eat naturally, avoiding grains and keeping carbs under control. The old eat it if it lives in the sea, walks on the land or grows above the ground, except grains. She explained that she had gone of and done it (without telling anyone) and with no food counting has lost 2 stone in 6 weeks, she has stopped feeling bloated all the time since she stopped eating grain but most interesting to me was that she said shes not hungry and that she had lost all her cravings.

need to find some more guinea pigs
