I think I'm going to try pointing for a while and see how it goes.
great idea sgtg - instead of eating it just point at it for a while :-)

im pretty sure that theres zero calories in pointing
    :D
alternative zero calorie activities might also include sniffing food, touching food, having a chat with food and force feeding food to somebody else
    sgtg youre a genius!

    Hi everyone

margaretclare - I can sympathise with you, glad you are getting better.

I have been back to the doctors today regarding my urticaria rash and was sent into town to get blood tests done - results should be back with the Doctor by Tuesday.

I don't think I have slept much at all the past 2 days, my rash is so itchy and I'm trying to resist scratching it but it is hell!

Ate lunch out in town - diet out of the window today, also I am going for an Indian meal tonight which really I cannot avoid.

Back on track tomorrow - still only buying healthy foods to eat in the house

moses lol what a name! I guess 6 weeks is a new record?
I think i'm still two seasons behind the one that you're watching Eric. Am resisting reading up about the new series too much because i really dont want to inadvertantly find out any major spoilers.
Biggest loser 9 is pretty good, I want mike to win, the UK version being shown at the moment is so lame by comparison

    yep it is

9 is the one with sunshine and o'neal? that was one of the best seasons, 10 is pretty good, 11 is avg at best atm

s6 of australian BL is pretty lame so far
  • I am tired of being overweight. I am 177 and only 4 ft 10 inchs, yes I am that small. I have an under active thyroid and am on medication for it. I have been told it will be hard to loose weight with the thyroid problems. Help please!!!!!!!!! I have read the tips and have started and I eat half the amount my son eats, but I still can't loose it. I have started adding a soup to my dinners before my meals, but need help.

Suggestions for meals would help as well. I cook for two, myself and my son.

There is a dress at work, I would love to get into. It is in the costume rack, but it is small waist wise but the funny thing is because it is 18th century it is very very wide. So I would have to loose my width to get into a dress that has a lot os width:rotfl:

Hi - welcome to the thread.

Lots of people with health problems lose weight on here so hopefully they'll have some more tips for you.

Are you able to exercise? If so you could go for long walks with your son.

Hi countrymusicfan! I take it 177 is what you weigh and not your age? :p If you go to the start of the thread eric has a lot of info on weight loss that works for him and that you could take advice from?
  • Hello everyone

and big welcome to the newbie's.

Fred 2lb Loss please for me this week. I'm putting that mostly down to stress (although nothing close to what Victory is going through) and lack of sleep.

DH has gone back away again for the week, but I was glad to have him home. I wasn't feeling too great but at least I could relax a bit.

I had terrible migraines and my tum is only just getting back to normal. I was so bad, had to take some time off work. Anyway, back to work tomorrow (still not 100% but feel well enough to go ) with the help of nurofen.:)

Hello :) I would like to join this thread, please... I've been physically getting in my own way for long enough, and I'm fed up with it! I caught myself being tempted by tesco diets (it would be one in a long line of attempted diets) and then realised there was this thread on MSE.

I'm going to weigh tomorrow to give my starting weight, but last time I weighed I was just under 18st, which at 5'2" is a bit much
Well, I am going to go back and read the thread from the beginning for some much needed inspiration, and then tomorrow dust off my Wii fit. It'll probably make that sad 'ouch' noise when I step on it lol.
