Betty: Have you tried not following any plan? Just going out there exercising and eating less? I just think if you constantly have to start a new way of eating then theres something not right in the first place?

BB: The personal shopper we have in debs is really good! Enjoy yourself :D Can't believe her wedding is only two weeks away! Thats come around quickly.

Given the week of overindulgence I've had I guess I should be pleased with a STS. Should be on here more often to absorb the group motivation!

Jeez! Thats losing my whole weight and half another vicki? Surely not!!!!
  • Margaret - forgot to say earlier - really sorry to hear about the shingles as I know it can be very painful. Poor you. Take care of yourself.

Beanie -:mad: at the rubbish you have had to take from people about your walking. Honestly they make me sick.
I'm doing ok thanks . I feel better than I did and there are signs the increase in meds are beginning to improve my skin again. Looking forward to injecting myself tomorrw, as the last few days of the fortnight between jabs, my arthritis creaps back in and it's a little painful at the mo. I'm a bit quieter on the thread coz I am very engrossed in our massive clear out, and I'm not really 'trying' to lose weight, and I feel a little overwhelmed by the number of newbies, though delighted we have so many and that so many, as usual are making every one very welcome. I just don't have the spare mental energy at the mo.
Th personal shopper is free ( at Debenhams), but perhaps you mean having enough money to buy half a dozen things at once.

Sary - I've been inspired by a website that challenges us to wear only 6 items of clothing in a month(doesn't include underwear or sports wear etc) It's a bit more to it than that but thinking through their ideas I have found very freeing. I'll let you know what I end up with. If I don't, remind me. I would expect to get a different capsule wardrobe for 'summer'.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

    Here's this weeks chart:

    9Feb2011.jpg

Congratulations to our SoTW Victory - although we are sad that it is under such circumstances.

Well done to all the losers - there were some good loses this week, and also well done to the STSers this week.

Commiserations to the gainers this week - tomorrow is a new start - we're all behind you.

    9Feb2011Intercountryteams.jpg

The winners of the first week of the team challenge by a whisker was Scotland.

The winners of this week of the team challenge is Wales.

This weeks quote is from Ralph Waldo Emerson

"Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm"
