That's exactly my problem! I didn't want it too much before, but since I started eating it, I can't stop thinking about it!

But then, life is precious, im not obese so to deny myself one of lifes little pleasures would be sad and miserable.

Are you sure? I don't know how much you weight but a lot of people are obese but confuse that category with "clinical obese" which is the next category up.

When I was fat, I used to think I was overweight but I was actually obese* (I'm 5ft 9 and was 14 and a half stone).

That's not meant as a dig, simply pointing out that a lot of people are confused by what these terms actually means.

    * Before anyone points it out, yes I know that BMI has problems depending on your muscle-fat ratio but I'm giving a simple example.

Will do - have a great time skiing - and make sure there's more skiing than Aprez skiing :p

Vix is not obese (clinical or otherwise) - I know very little - but that I do know :).

There are people of all weights on this thread - some only to maintain or lose a few pounds, others to lose a lot more. It's not safe to assume that everyone on here has a lot to lose - even if they have been on this thread for a long time - because it's very easy to offend by making sweeping assumptions.

cgk, good point, there are different levels of obesity. im very happy to have left the "super super obese catorgory" well behind
i think the other levels go something like this:
    super duper obese
    super obese
    fairly obese
    quite fat
    rotund
    bit podgy
    sizeable thighs
    vaguely plump
    normal
    too boney

My bmi is in the "healthy" range and im a size 10 on top, 12 on bottom weighing 10.02 (5'3) So im hopeful im not obese, or clinically obese!!! I just have a lot of fat in me, and rather large bum and thighs which is where all my fat likes to party and chill out.

A week or two ago, i had the taste of iron in my mouth every time i ate or just generally. Now i feel proper weak, horrible and like the room is a bit spinny when im not spinning! (im sober) :p I read that the iron taste can relate to weight loss, but i've only lost 7lbs, so it's not like thats a huge loss? and now i feel crap and like im deficient in something...is this a normal process in losing 7lbs? I know im eating enough, i've had veg, meat and a banana today with plenty of fluid.
