not much to report, they shaved lumps out of my chest again, wired me up and got me running up a 16 degree slope at 4.5 mph until my heart rate was in the high 170s and i had to stop

the nurses wont comment on the results ....

OMG :eek::eek: I hope you mean chest hair and not your actual chest!
When are you going to find out the test results ?

Victory - that sounds like a lot of faffing around. I bet they wouldn't be allowed to act like that in this country it would be classed as racist. So are you having to go to London to sort out your number or are you going to to do the Spanish faf method?

Just completed my 3rd run of week 2 and I am so proud of myself. I cannot believe that I am able to run at all :j Also signed myself up for the race for life last night which is in July down here so that is my deadline to be able to run 5km by the race for life :j:j
    Restarting C25K in 2014 - Week 8 - 1/3 completed

Need to loose 25lb / 3lb lost so far :(

    Hellooo! I'm back!

nice to see some good losses last week - well done guys. But please can you all STOP beating me up everest!?!!? :rotfl:
I'll be back on the stepper later on, ready to meet mandz for a hot choc at the summit!! (well done mandz!)

My total so far is 8200 ft i think, so can anyone (fred?) tell me how many ft I have left to do please?? thanks!

Had a lovely holiday - long weekend in belgium - lots of beer and chips and waffles - but then I got a cold and stomach bug so wasn't able to overindulge for the 2nd half of the trip :( Feeling a bit better now - was pretty much bed ridden yesterday tho :( only got up to stock up on toast, wotsits and pop tarts :o

So, erm, day 1 yet again I think! Need to snap back into 'thin by summer' mode and stop wallowing now the cold's nearly gone.

victory glad u liked the chicken curry - it is fab. The samosas are fiddly, but you dont need the mango powder I dont even know why they suggest it, I did them without it and they were delish! So I wouldn't worry about sourcing it.
Hope all goes well with the spanish paperwork, inheritence tax, etc. good to see things are moving forwards for you in that respect.

:T:T well done alliwant! I'm so pleased for you! I haven't done any more runs cos of my holiday and then illness, but I plan to start week 1 properly this week and see it through till summer - my goal is to be able to do a sponsored run one day!

The mango powder they were going to charge me £11 postage:eek: love the idea of making them but they came out in balls and the pastry was so fiddly to work with got some on a trip to Sainsburys.:D

Haha good idea -the ones from shops are nice enough. If the pastry was too fiddly, you could always just roll the veg mixture up in it like spring rolls instead! different shape, same flavour!!

Betty I'm so jealous. I love Begium. Especially the chips, beer and waffles. You did miss out Leonidas chocolates though. Became such a regular when I was visiting my x's parents that the girl in local shop filled a box of white chocolates for me arriving :rotfl:

Just back from hospital and got the ALL CLEAR Woooohooooo. Have a few cysts that may need draining at a later date, but all clear for now. Guess that means i need to get back onto the diet.... well... Maybe after celebrating the good news :j:j:j:j

Just found this on the OS weight loss thread (was lurking and looking for a recipe!)

I reckon the No-S Diet has got to be the ultimate in OS weight management.

It's only 14 words long with 3 rules and 1 exception:

    • No Snacks
    • No Sweets
    • No Seconds
Except (sometimes) on days that start with "S"

    See www.nosdiet.com

Very interesting reading and right up my street!
