Bramble - how was the SW curry yesterday?:)
    Do what you love :happyhear
  • Hello all, I've never posted here before but I've had a rather odd weekend so though I might share the Story with you all!

So yesterday, for the first time in a year and a half I have TV again! And sattelite tv aswell (freesat!) so I'm very happy as I live alone and it can get very quiet and I have missed tv. ( call me sad, I know! Lol)

and then today, woke up in a very good mood, put some happy upbeat music on and started to have a little dance.....
However, I unfortunatly tripped over my slipper, causing me to fall into the radiator and Bang my arm quite badly and very painfully - thusly not in such a good mood!!
So there I was, holding my arm in pain, and then I heard a trickling noise. I've only somehow managed to bust a pipe and it's trickling water all over the carpeted floor!!
Can't get a plumber out til the morning, so now I have to take the morning off work to wait and let them in, in the meantime as the pipe is so low, I can't get a bucket underneath to catch the water, so I've had to put a cat litter filled frying pan underneath the drip! Lol.
I've now turned all the water off, so it's just a slow drip now.
I'm now baking choc brownies with mini marshmallows in to cheer myself up, though i'm going to be stuck with a big pile of chocolaty washing up as I have no water, and also no heating and it's supposed to get a bit nippy tonight!! Minus 5!! Eeek

so, long story short - I shall never do a little dance of joy ever again!! ( unless i'm in a VERY open space anyway!!)

My gosh it is cold out :( I've got a headache cos it's so cold :(.

I had a lovely lunch with the girls, the scan pics were lovely :). It was freezing in the restuarant though (frankie&benny's) cos their heating was broken! I did my food shop on way home at Morrisons and Tesco, only spent £30 :T this will last me til payday (21st), all I'll need to buy is fresh veg/fruit and eggs so I'll be well under my £80 budget this month.

Forgot to put BM on earlier so that will go on later, WM is on with 2nd load now. Need to blend and freeze one of the 2 soups I made this morning and then I'm collapsing on sofa with a cuppa and a magazine :D

Date boy is in a band and they have a gig tonight, I'm not allowed to go though as apparently they are quite scary :rotfl: It is a metal band. He wants me to get to know him better first before I'm allowed to go to a gig! :blushing:

    Have a good evening all
