Hello here is my first daily addition after asking if I could join you yesterday. Just saw Hesters pic of Maggie she is gorgeous.

strange weekend for me as DH has been in 200 miles away since Wednesday while DFIL is in hospital operation went ok just waiting for him to be discharged, hopefully will be back Tuesday

Already done my ironing today and cooked a piece of pork yesterday for todays lunch I am following slimming world as well at the moment so trying to stay on the wagon. I have rejoined the grocery challenge for Feb so will start hopefully on Tuesday January has been a complete washout for me. So the rest of the day will be cooking some mousakka for tomorrows tea and lunches for next week.

Anyway hope this is ok and look forward to getting to know you all :D

is there a way you can automatically find the next days log? it took me a while to find it today (well not that long but you know what I mean)
    Determined to do better
  • Afternoon all

Why couldn't it have been bright warm and sunny like this yesterday when I was walking and freezing my b**t off ?

Dog walked, WM been on and mostly dry and half way through the ironing - had to take a forum break. Bacon and tomato rolls eaten :rotfl:! Bathroom stardropped. Just the bedroom to tidy.

Off for a late lunch/early dinner Indian buffet with parents and freinds so whilst not very OS there's no cooking therefore no washing up :j:j:j.

OU study tonight though but I'm trying not to think about that!

Must make some cards too - parents off on 10 week hol next week and it's their wedding anniversary, birthday and Mother's Day while they're away so need to be organised!

    Have a good afternoon all

Done a tidy round downstairs already today. I try all week to keep things neat and tidy and one day (where we're out of the house nearly all day I'll add!!!) and it's a ruddy tip again. Feeling like a hamster on that wheel again <rollseyes>.

I know just what you mean - its like painting the Forth Bridge, soon as you finish its time to start again!
I am ill. Don't get ill often, but when I do, I get proper ill.

hope you get well soon x

Halight - no sore head:D I dont drink!:A we all had a good time:) glad he girls are a bit better. I thought of you yesterday as I had a chat to my hairdresser who was out with her baby twins who were born at 22 weeks:eek: they are still on oxygen but at least they are at home - they spent months in hospital at Bristol, real little fighters they are.

Hester - congratulations on the arrival of Maggie:beer:

better go and do something, see you all later x

Love Sunday night telly, Countryfile, Antiques Roadshow and then Being Human which we love and have watched from the very first series.
I must say Gers I do agree with you about facebook, I never feel comfortable with it and don't go on very often at all. I am seriously thinking of deleting my account, not sure yet. The only thing that keeps me using it is my nosy streak:rotfl:
