Congrats Hester What a lovely name
Bitsy I know just how you feel. I have also spent all week cleaning and washing. I have decided I am on strike today apart from washing, putting clothes away cooking a chicken curry I will be doing nothing:eek:
Mrs Rogers My DH is the same he can't stop coughing. I have given him some linctus but he is now officially getting on my nerves:D
DH and DS3 off to the park so I will have a couple of hrs to myself. I plan to begin my mediation this morning. This is the link

I am hoping it's going to make me feel happier. Combined with exercise and healthy eating.
BB well done on your weight loss
My DD and her BF and our DGS called and ending up having tea. So the lasagne was polished off, no leftovers and it was huge, also half the lemon drizzle cake eaten. I really need to fill up the tins soon.
She asked if we would look after DGS overnight next saturday and with a meal out on Friday and a visit from my parents on Sunday it will be a busy weekend
Anyway of to find a core breakfast. Have a good day everyone JStarted Self Managed DMP 10th May 2017.

Morning all
HH - congrats to you and DD!
Another beautifully sunny morning here
I'm off out again today! For lunch with the girls - my old schoolfriends - the one from Bristol is back for the weekend, she is pregnant and had scan this weeks o we are looking forward to see the scan pics
I really need to do some exercise today as I've been a bit off the diet wagon what with having 2 dates, 1 big night out and 2 lunches out all in one week!! :rotfl: If I'm back in time from lunch I'll go to the gym, if not I'll do my exercise DVD.
OS wise - I've got 2 soups on the go already - spiced carrot & lentil, and celery soups. BM will go on while I'm out, along with WM. Yesterday's laundry needs to be put away. And I should tackle the junk in my spare room too! I also need to go food shopping, but it depends on when I get back from having lunch.
Hope you all have a fab day

Hi everyone
I've been lurking for a while but have finally got round to registering and would love to join in if that's ok? I love reading about everyone's day (cos I'm a nosy parker!!)
I've got a shoulder of pork in the oven which takes 6 hours!! It's delicious but I can't bear the thought of 6 hours of gas burning away... so will pop a rice pud in and probably some biscuits/cakes for the tins.
Congratulations to HH and her family, lovely news!
Hope everyone has a good day - I love Sundays0 -

Morning All.
Hester -so pleased to hear of Maggie's safe arrival!
Last night I leant over to close a sliding door - very little effort - and my back now feels as if there's a whole section missing! Great! Can't sit, stand or lie comfortably so will be constantly on the move!
Glad the MSE link on FB is active again - I joined it years ago when this site was down for a day, but couldn't find any recent joiners this week - definitely need it to recognise names!
DS coming up later on, DH cooking R pork I think. I had loads of plans but can't see any of them getting done. Painkillers and maybe sleep I think.
Hope you all have a great Sunday. Do take care.Resolution:

Morning, a late one from me. I was awake a lot of the night, woke up to hear my favourite bit of 'Through the night' with Dotoun where pieces of music are selected for a virtual jukebox, so that kept me awake. Was slightly disappointed that an ABBA track was voted for, even though it was an obscure one.
Then I had a cup of tea at about 5.30a.m., did a little surfing and went back to bed at about 6.15a.m. slept fitfully and then got up properly after another 3 hours sleep. :j
Plans for today include taking some books to the charity shop, dropping in on a colleague, shopping a little bit, preparing some interview questions for tomorrow and then generally slobbying around after that. Don't think I do enough of slobbying around so today it is!
I'm not on FB anymore. Used to be until a slight aquaintance remarked inappropriately to a comment I posted on my wall (a line from a song) and I deleted my account. Too many work people writing about work. My lovely family and I now do phone calls, texts and emails so there's not anyone making stupid comments. Not having an account also gets neatly round the problem of not accepting children/youths I work with as 'friends'.
Scaffolding needs taken down - must remember to ring the contractor to remind him. They tend to leave scaffolding parked for much longer than necessary and the repair job took less than 3 hours.
Thanks to Julie for the mindfulness link and app, I've downloaded it and forwarded to a friend who will find it very useful. I've been rabbiting on for ages about mindfulness, kindess and gratitude for ages and there it is on a nice little bundle. :T
I wish happiness to HH's new DGD, health to those who are poorly and a great big wallop of joy to everyone. Mind you the bloomin' birds helped keep me awake this morning so perhaps I need a spoonful of joy myself!

Beemuzed - take care with your back. You have my sympathies.

BB - Well done on the weight loss.
NPM = Glad you had a good day, you deserve it.
Halight = hope the girls are on the mend now.
Hope I havent missed anyone out, forgive me if I have.
OS wise The towels are on the line, but the local forecast says chance of the odd snow flurry. DW is on and WM is on with the first load in. No football today (frozen pitch) Got a pile of ironing to do, then meal plans for the week and a quick shop. Could do with doing some school work - it could wait, but I will feel better when it is done. Any room on the Hamster wheel for me ?
Have a lovely day, whatever your plans.:):)

Hester, congratulations on your new grand daughter. Hope the whole family is doing well.
Well, got up town and a miracle occured - 1st game shop had the Pokemon fire red game my son wanted. I nearly died. I told him I thought I had had a dream that he got the game he wanted, and went home happy!!
Put a Sains basic bacon joint in slow cooker with a few veg, so will have that today. I fancied meat pie and chips yesterday so we had that for tea - reduced meat pie, of course.
Feeling a bit anxious today, forgot to get chicken layer pellets, but hope to pick them up later.
Off for a Sunday coffee with DH, who is worn out doing his new job.
Enjoy your Sunday.0
