I'll be keeping an eye on the contract prices for the Desire. I came very close to signing for 18 months in o2 the other day, but they wanted £30 a month for only 500mb of data (and some minutes and texts that I will never use), but £30 is over my budget. If it had been £25 I would have signed. This is with a free Desire.

Try Phones 4u, they have the desire with a similar package for £25 a month. May even have more MB then the above too (not 100%)

I was more concerned that as the box had been opened there might be something wrong with it. As it turned out, they changed it for a brand new sealed in the box one, so I'm happy.

Och that's fab news and I just found out (via getting some free sims to see if my phone was unlocked and yes it is) that like giff gaff are currently doing Unltd texts, 250 mins and unltd internet on PAYG for £10 a month :)

Shame my contract doesn't finish till June...it is soo tempting (and before then I need the cashback = all £200 of it :))

But maybe worth getting the giffgaff deal via topcashback or something pimento? What's your budget anyways with regards monthly tariffs?

Well, I suppose I could (just about) bear £25, but not for 24 months. If it was a free Desire, I'd sign for 18 months, although, if I could buy the Desire for £200 or less (maybe in a few months) I'd happily stay PAYG of SIMplicity.

I read too many threads on here from people who are desparate to get out of a contract.

Hi, just wondered if anyone can help, my fianc!e took out the htc wildfire on Monday (£20 a month on Three) and for the first couple of days she was happy, but since then she has been having problems with the camera. On close up pics it is fine but on slightly further distances the pics are always coming out blurry. Does anyone else have this problem? Also, does anyone know if Three would let me return the phone in exchange for the more expensive desire? (£25 per month). What is the returns/exchange policy?
    Hope someone can help.
    Many thanks

Three won't take the phone back if you've used it. If the camera is faulty, they should offer to repair it though.

I dont think you can go wrong with a HTC phone in all honesty, unless you want to take good photos. For that, pretty much all HTC phones struggle

    Hello,

    Could anyone help, please?

I have copied music files to my phone, via dragging into the folder on my phone (through computer), but it says Unknown Artist for each album/track.

They are correct on the Music folder I am copying from (they were ripped previously onto my Sony Ericsson phone via Windows Media Player).

My phone recognises the albums and artwork, but just not the Artists!

Thanks in advance. Sorry if I haven't put this in the right place!

Check the ID tags, you may find you have Album Artist filled in, but not Artist (or vice versa), make sure they both have info in and you should be OK.

Ok, thank you. They display fine on Media Player and did on my old phone. My Wildfire lists the same tracks alphabetically, instead of in album order!
