Can anyone give me any tips for my stay on friday...I was wondering if to pay out for the breakfast for the saturday so we can all be full up I hope and stay in the pool longer or do I take a pack up breky and have food at the restaurant their..Has anybody got any tips what they did before and after getting in the pool...
Thanks0 -
We came back this morning, I would recommend breakfast in the secret garden, we paid on the first day for our daughter but she hardly ate anything. Today we just paid for the adults and the waitress said if she wanted anything not to worry about it.
I would try and take advantage of Cariba Creek early when it is just hotel residents, it was empty this morning. Maybe you should think about taking some croissants for breakfast and having a big eat as much as you want buffet at Flamingos in the evening, open from 6 until 9? It was 1.95 for children under 4, 6.95 between 5 and 12 years, special rate 15.95 for adults.
Hope this helps.
PS/ Don't pay for the woodland walk it isn't worth it, just stroll along the path. What goes around - comes around
give lots and you will always recieve lots0 -

What kind of things are included in the evening buffet? Thanks0 -

Minging bathroom!
Splash Landings opened in 2003 but the rooms are quite tiny, small bunk beds and thin walls I've been told by several people.
I think some of the rooms in the ATH have been refurbished more recently as they used to have Discovery and Garden rooms, they're now all discovery rooms to the best of my knowledge.
Just to add another place to eat as well, when we stayed there on the Friday night we went to the Blacksmith (something). It's on the horrible little crossroads as you come into Alton Village from the Uttoxeter direction. If you're coming from the hotels it's left out the gates, go up the hill, and along that road, right at the crossroads and immediate left into their carpark.
Great food, huge portions and they were doing BOGOF on mains when we were there so less than a fiver each!0 -
Now my daughter's going to take her boyfriend - look out for them if you're going on the 8th0

entry to cariba creek is £12 pp on the day (under 4yrs free) or £8 pp booked in advance-you can do this and prebook tickets for the waterpark when you check in.
Yes check out is at 10am. We stayed over on the friday night, checked in about 5.30pm, chilled out in the room and had some dinner the went to have a look around the hotel (the secret garden looks lovely covered in fake snow at night....) they also had the friday night disco goin on. There's also games room with arcade games, air hockey and pool tabes in the splash landings hotel.
We used the pool etc the next day, checked out at 10am stashed the luggage in the car and made our way over to cariba creek. didn't get outta the pool until about 5.00pm, could easily have stayed in until closing time!!!!! :j :jEverything in life is a paradox.
