Great original post! Many thanks!!!
For £10 for a room in a 3 / 4 star hotel, I don't mind putting up with a few naturists wondering around...... certainly not a reason to cancel! I don't really see how they've misrepresented the advert either....
£10 for a room and entertainment (naturists in freezing cold weather......):

the rooms seem to have gone up since yesterday. yesterday most the weekends were fully booked.now none are fully booked and prices have gone up to £20 for a friday and £40 for a weekend day and then £10 for week day. something seems to be a bit fishy. as why are the weekends available now?Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! I've just searched for Alton Towers on the lastminute.com website - and it doesn't come up with anything.
Weekends are probably now available due to increased price? Either that or they are in the process of cancelling our orders. lol.
EDIT: Works when you just search for Alton, not Alton Towers. My room for 1st Dec. would now cost £20.

DH in his wisdom has come up with a possible answer to the breakfast dilemma. He's suggested that we go in our camper (pictured) and cook breakfast for everyone on our two ring burner for a small fee. Maybe we could stretch to cooking tea as well.
Only joking of course.......:rotfl:
BTW anyone else going Wed and/or Thurs night this week?0 -
I still think £20/£40 a night is fabulous value!Cath x
