  • I hope you've made the bread and are enjoying eating it. :)

I'm glad you've found someone to lend you a radiator. It can be cold overnight at this time of the year. Where I am they are talking about 1 degree above freezing one night.

You worked out your meals well and no doubt everybody will enjoy them.

OMG how cold was it last night!!!!!!!!!!!!! I was freezing!!!!! Had to get into bed at around 8pm and watch t.v there lol :rotfl:and then i ended up going downstairs to make 3 hot water bottles for each of the kids (they always kick their duvet off no matter how cold it is!) and one for me!!! Was much better after that ;) so I think the hot water bottles are out of storage (shoved at back of kitchen sink cupboard) for good this year!

Have made a shopping list and will stick to it. i've worked it out it should cost around £20. I am going to go to the shops again at the end of the week for stuff to take away with us. I will work out where to transfer some money from once i've heard how much the house is going to cost to fix up that dad is doing. Hopefully will be less than I am imagining so I can use some emergency funds for weekend away :T.....a holiday for sanity is worthy of emergency funds, right? :p

Bread & rolls were delicious! Will post a recipe later :) Also made some fruity buns for the kids sweet treats as I have NO sweets on the list for shopping this week  One thing that is good out of all this...I should definitely come in under budget for shopping this month!

    Today's jobs:
    Tidy kitchen (only breakfast stuff)
    drop dd off to nursery
    Pick up radiator :T
    Do shopping
    [STRIKE] check bank [/STRIKE]
pay for 2 items i won on ebay (i know i know i said i wouldn't buy any more :o:o less than a fiver for both though, promise!)
Pay for dad's xmas pressie (fawlty towers collection £12) out of christmas/birthday pressie fund
pay for mum's pressie (well half- the kings speech- she lent me a copy and i lost it :o so this is actually cheeky giving it to her as half a pressie:o:o)
call mum!!! I haven't spoken to her in a month at least and i'm starting to feel very unloved :(
Call dad see what is happening with house ()

Think that is it. Oh and my ebay purchases were a hobby for me, i used to quill years and years ago and loved it. Gave all my stuff away. Now years later decided i want to do it again :) so got blank cards, and a small kit and I will make my own christmas cards. I thought that was a little more personal. Seeing as though I can't spend what I usually do on family for xmas I thought a nice homemade card with a piccie of the kids in will make that up (i can but hope lol)

Hi happy! Yes that's what the first letter said actually so i can expect it to be same sort of time each month then!? That's good comes in so i can work out budget for the next month

Bread is yummy need to do more and luckily have lots of ingredients left lol as no room on budget this week for more! I'm actually not going to buy and bread this week and live off of what i made  i usually buy a loaf as a back up :rotfl: I canNOT wait to see ds1. I keep asking him if he is happy. I think secretly i want him to say no, just so i can bring him home and him live here with me :( it is his birthday tomorrow and i'll miss it...and it's an important one too turning 13 so i'm feeling very gutted right now ...but he has booked the party room out for 3 hours and a few mates, has a cake and i've got everyone to send him cards/parcels there so hopefully he will have a fab day

Haha I worked out the meals and I realised I didn't have enough for the last day so had to put fishfingers & chips (this is always in my freezer for my days where I have no energy lol) so next week i'll have to replace! But i can guess already which meal the kids will think is best (no prizes there huh) :rotfl:

  • haha i'm on the ball today !! need to make the most of it ;)

Have another job to add to the list

    *send ds1 his swimming trunks!

I already sent him in with speedos (school issued) and apparantly they were never in his bag, hmmmmmmmmmmmm, funny that. He absolutely hates them and they just disappear into thin air?! Okies whatever! I'll send him a pair but I expect he will have to 'find' his school pair for swimming lessons!

Will send those today actually so i can grab another nsd tomorrow ;)

Called mum and she is not picking up. She doesn't love me anymore. Boohoo ;)!

My shopping came in at £20.69 so have updated sig! still well within my budget so very happy with that! Finished some more xmas shopping for parents too. Didn't know how much to spend now on new budget so thought the fawlty towers collection and guiness & wine will do for dad & step mum. For mum I will ask her but spend around the same. DH's mum, well she has everything (and even if she doesn't her house looks like it does? so i couldn't tell if there was anything she needed?!) wonder if chocs and some gin or something would be nice?!

Xmas is sooo hard!! esp for adults!
Have no money left in xmas fund now lol so need to wait till next month before I finish them all off!

I received some freebies in the post today, snack pots for the kids and there were two so that's one each! So they are sorted for one day this week ;) prob save it for wednesday then I can take those to the zoo or somewhere with some juice and won't need to buy anything!

Have received a response to the email i sent. I really don't think I have a leg to stand on regarding claiming off the bond. However they did fail to do a spot check like they were supposed to ....came up with excuses of being fobbed off, turning up- noone there, etc etc. That is there job surely??? Hmm anyway not thinking about that or i just get stressy :o

Off to playgroup this afternoon. It's free and i'm fed up of them trashing my house :D they can do it to the playgroup instead today!
