  • OK well i'm still technically on for a nsd, but have bought a dress on ebay with my paypal money. SO does this count still as a nsd? I can't take my paypal out and put it on my bank account (as i found out last night) cos it's still in my maiden name and my bank account is obviously in my married name (can you tell how many times i've taken out of paypal before lol) So no money has come out of monthly budget to pay for it (and if i win it- a nightgown for ds2) and I have decided to use paypal money to buy clothes/things we need so it's money neutral :)

but just wanted to be fair and check what you would all do, seeing as though it's a little race I don't want to cheat ;)

The dress is lovely though, and I can't wait to get it!! :D

Have decided to forget the visit to the farm. Thankfully the kids are too young to understand where we were going anyway ;) might take them to the zoo instead which is a 10 min drive away rather than an hour down the motorway. This way i have my petrol in the tank still for picking up ds1 on thursday :j

Will def need petrol for going on hol next friday though, so will need to transfer some money from somewhere. have decided to pop to asda with some money transferred from somewhere (haven't decided where yet lol) and will buy a few dvds for us to watch whilst away. That will sort out the evening entertainment, I will get our sweeties there too as the shops on site are unreasonably expensive  ...Must get out winter coats and lots of extra blankets too to take and some hot water bottles! So that is my job for the week ahead lol.

I'm also challenging myself to leave the heating off until November. Obviously if it gets much colder I may have to reconsider :p I don't want icicles hanging from our noses all because I have set myself a challenge :rotfl:

    Jobs today:
    • Getting together a meal plan for 6 days from cupboard stock and £24 in my bank :rotfl:! This is to include any drinks, snacks etc...:rotfl:i can but try!
    • Finish washing pile off
    • try and get dh to take kids to zoo by himself ;):p if not -take kids to zoo!
    • put all washing away
    • mop kitchen floor (seems to be a fav pasttime!)
    • finish off 4 sock monkeys
Oh and I don't think I mentioned yesterday I won a christmas cake from the raffle I did at the charity morning :T we have half left :rotfl:so that's treats sorted for today :p

Dh has naughtily spent the money that was supposed to be his 'away' float. I've nothing to top it up with so I hope the fifty quid that is left is sufficient for whilst he is away this sun-tues if not then perhaps next time he might realise that it wasn't actually 'his' to spend. Sorry, I know tihs sounds harsh but I'm getting pretty peeved with always having the blame from him about spending all the money (because I have to buy the food pay for bills, petrol, buy clothes kids need....) and I apparantly waste it :( i'm rather upset by this comment as I have changed so much in the last year, i budget for everything I can think of and yet i'm still 'bad with money' humph not happy with that :(
i had no pocket money this month. He had (with his unauthorised spends from float) £90 at least. !!!

anyway in other news, no news on the management agency.... thought they would be straight on the phone moaning at me that it was all my fault....maybe they save these calls for a monday morning?! :rotfl:

I'm feeling quite down at the mo, not sure why, but am really really trying to avoid spending. Whenever I feel down I just want to shop shop shop!!!! And i've been feeling like a good old shop this last week!!! SO must take my mind off it! Can't afford it, don't need much (do need a few things, but I can live without them for now- kids don't need anything and that's more important!) someone please slap my wrists!!! :D

Ok off now, why do my posts always turn into essays, rambling nonsense essays at that :o

  • well christmas cake has been finished :p

And more things on ebay (more than 99p cos it's free listing!) and I've got two bags for the toy library as they are doing a charity sale to raise some money. It's mainly teddies & books that the kids have grown out of. However, when I put them in a bag the kids went nuts and made me feel really bad! The thing is I NEVER see them playing with them!! So i've been tough and their in a bag ready to go anyway :p and it has cleared a little space in their room (not much!)

Apart from that I haven't done very much from my list oops! :o

  • I'm back and i've done all my jobs :A (well apart from the sock monkeys. BUT they made it out of the cupboard and are sat next to me, that's a start right ;))

Done lots of surveys this evening. Rather annoyed though, I keep getting screened out of all of them :doh:grrr!

A wine induced evening planned. Can't find my wii fit dvd thing so can't weigh myself (this is probably a good thing lol)

    AND a NSD here :) so up to 7 ! wahey :)

  • I've been busy doing the £4 surveys. Sometimes they get sent back for me to amend during the vetting process. I have completed 5 today and 3 have already been vetted and passed. :)
If they are all passed by the 20th I can put in my request for payment.

I had a  moment today.
Completed this year's self assessment online and added in the surveys I completed as should pay tax and then added in the loss from our partnership which cancelled each other out and it said I owed £47.80. I had to pay this. I think something is wrong. HMRC cannot help until Tuesday when it is uploaded to their system.

Glad your got all your jobs done. About to have a look at mine on my diary, but I think I completed them before 9am this morning.

    Take care. :D

  • Well it's Sunday and I was up before dawn cleaning poop off of carpets, toys, and ds2. How fun. Tired already now!! DH has gone to work and won't be back until Tuesday. So just me and kids, which is kind of good considering the money situation. I'm reckoning I could get 4 days worth of dinners out of the freezer & cupboards as it stands right now. Am going to attempt to make bread again today just like when we were shown last week with herbs and stuff (ooooh posh and tasty bread) so on the list for dinners over the next few days until thursday : Soup & tasty bread, Chilli con carne, Chicken, Rice & veg, Fishfingers, chips & beans ....I need to get cleaning stuff for kitchen & bathroom and also salad stuff, milk & few other essentials but hoping to get it all under the £24 i have left lol.

Monday I get child benefit & have that dd due out so will have £26 left from that. Then Tuesday I'm not sure if tax credits are due or not as i've changed the payments to monthly (really hoping they are due though this would do for holiday)

I've found lots of spare blankets & will take an extra duvet as ds1 always ends up sleeping in the front room of the caravans on the pull out bed and there is never enough duvets! Also going to see if anyone local to me has electric radiators I can borrow ;) so we should be toasty and warm. Not made plans as to what we are going to do there yet but I'm thinking a nice chilled out weekend, free swimming, free evening entertainment & bring some dvd's and stuff for evenings in. Hopefully this will be very MSE and cheap!!! :D

House is pretty clean today but I do need to put more washing away. Also need to make bread & put dishwasher on. Apart from that I think a nice chilled out day is required ;) oooh and I must remember before ds1 is home next week that I have to clear his bedroom! It is santa's workshop at the moment and covered in presents & ebay items lol!!
