I dont know of any other leaflet distribution, I apply via gumtree but if any thing comes back i google (company name) review and go from there. Gumtree normally has phone book distributions etc.

Ooooh I don't know what to do with those stooopid c.d's and dvd's grrr! They take up so much room to be honest, and dh has transferred the lot i want to sell onto hard drive so i guess we don't need the hard copies clogging up the house so i should be grateful for whatever I can get but when you think of all the money spent on them lol you kinda get a bit peeved

Right well today,
I've taken ds2 to playgroup (free) and to toy library to exchange toys (also free) and am sitting here nervously waiting for the dentist appointment we have (how do dentists manage to do this to people, i'm sat here with butterflies in my tummy cos i'm so nervous!!)
I've had a spendy day so far, spent around £10..£7.xx on posting 4 ebay parcels. £1.50 on energy drink & some sweeties for kids! Got back from post office and another buyer had paid  why do they always pay when i've just done the trip to the post office :rotfl:!!
I received a lovely little book from amazon this morning (my little grabbit treat) and it has some amazing sewing projects in there! I think i may start on some of those early next year for christmas pressies! In the mean time I want to do one out of the book before xmas though lol and then concentrate on getting rid of sock monkeys :rotfl:!
Got a letter through to confirm tax credits are going to paid 4 weekly. Starting on the 25th of october....which is not so brilliant as it's nearly a week before pay day. I need to keep it in there without spending it ....perhaps I may use the tax credits to put into savings accounts and then will just have more of the pay left. That way i won't be tempted to touch it each month!
Bad news re: our holiday :mad: DH probably can't come because his boss is a complete !!!! and told him only last night unless he can get someone to cover him over that weekend then he can't go.He had this booked from the minute I got confirmation from the sun so i am seriously not impressed with the fact I may have to take the kids for 3 days/nights by myself :(! Also his course has been messed around AGAIN. so no back pay, no pay rise. House still hasn't had work started on it and i have tenants interested so fingers crossed dad gets the man to work soon as! (he said he starts tomorrow- he best do!)
Why is it you get a good week, everything will go right, then the next week everything that can go wrong will go wrong and everything comes crashing down. Why can't i have one good day, one rubiish day but then followed by another good day. It wouldn't feel so extreme then
Anyway have to go collar my children now and get them to brush their teeth. Then actually get them to sit in the chair and open their mouth for the dentist - don't think this will be happening really!!!

well i'm £17 lighter now all for 5 mins pleasure with dr brently (or whatever his name was)! pfft! I should have been a dentist!
Good news is I don't have to have anything done to my teeth so no more cash out for another 6 months or so
Kids have fishfingers & chips for dinner.....and choccie biscuits after lol if only the dentist knew....'Oh mrs dfw you certainly keep their teeth clean, and do you feed them sweets because you wouldn't be able to tell' :rotfl:'nonononono of course I don't' :EasterBun<
MY CHILDREN!
I have £43 left in my bank now after that little trip and need to go out thursday morning for the charity morning yet ....so i'm wondering if I can get the money out of my change jar for thurs and get next week's shopping in on £43 :undecided it will certainly be a challenge that's for sure lol but if i can then that would set us up nicely for next week and mean i haven't dipped into emergency funds too much. I have a funny feeling i'm going to be using most of that for the house that needs doing up
so must do this weekend an inventory of freezer, fridge & cupboard!
Also need to buy ds1 a birthday card and send it off so he receives it in time. Will get this & stamp on thursday, will also post any ebay items that have been paid for by then! so can keep spends to minimal days! :T
Flu jab tomorrow, doesn't cost anything but i'm still not looking forward to it :rotfl: dentist and the nurse in one week  i suppose i should be thankful i'm not having to go in for a smear though and it's only to be stabbed in the arm! :rotfl: anyway enough drivel from me today, must go, i'm starving and kids are fighting over fishfingers (if only they would do this over my stews/shepherds pie/healthy meals)

Wednesday= a berroca day here!!
I feel absolutely exhausted! AND i'm feeling very sicky these last few days, so now i'm not sure if i should have my flu jab or not
completely fed up with feeling like this. DH thinks i should go to drs, i'm fed up of drs and they don't help anyway. I had to practically beg for them to change my anti d's!!
Hoping for a nsd today anyway. At least that might cheer me up!
I also stooooopidly forgot about a trip i had planned for this weekend :doh:I am SO forgetful!!! My friend kindly reminded me last night that i had begged her to get free farm tickets (saving £50 for family) and that it was this saturday we are going.:whistle:. course i pretended i hadn't forgot and was looking forward to it!! SO now i need to factor in petrol money to get there. In fact I think we have a nearly full tank so should be fine. but i will have to get money next week for trip away and school run!!!! I am so annoyed at myself for being so forgetful. If I'm like this at 32 what on earth will i be like at my grandmother's age :undecided!!!
So need to curb spends this week drastically so we can afford the rest of the month now!! So aiming for nsd today, friday & saturday (this is farm trip day, but we have free tickets, petrol & can bring packed lunch so all good) and on sunday too! SO only allowed to spend on thursday so best get making a list of everything i will need to do until next monday :rotfl: although knowing me i will forget something!!
Also want to spend this afternoon getting listings ready on turbo lister for going on this evening. If i put it on for 10 days it will finish saturday when we are on hols, if people pay straight away then i can package them and have them sent by tuesday latest so hopefully that will work out ok?!
Right anyway, off to finish that yukky berroca and tea (not in same cup!)

It all sounds very busy, but its so hard to keep on tightening your belt isnt it? constantly trying to save here there and everywhere while still making sure the husband kids and pets have everything they want.
I know my margins are so tight its demoralising if they slip at all.Trying to shift that debt!0 -
yep that is exactly how i feel today skint, demoralised
not helped by the fact that I am trying to get a move to a different house but keep being told no, no, Bl00dy NO! grrr! The army are happy with either a 13 year old sharing with a 2 year old or a boy and girl sharing UNTIL they are TEN!!!! !!!!!!? Now this is just my opinion but i don't think that is right so i've requested a transfer to one of the 4 beds or a larger 3 bed so i could divide one of the rooms up. But no. Not entitled. Although 5 people on my little cul de sac have 3 kids same as me. ALL UNDER TEN, and all of them in 4 beds, so, go figure that one out
feeling like life is very unfair and I always seem to get the worst luck. Sorry a proper feel sorry for myself day today!
Also waiting on phone call from father with quotes on how much that stupid !!!!!!!g house is going to cost before it is letable again....ok i'll leave now before i pass on my negativity to anyone else (if i haven't already infected you all with it!)
