  • It is and think of the decluttering!!! after all its stuff no longer wanted isnt it?

Ive 6 items ending and no bids at the moment, how annoying!!
    Trying to shift that debt!
  • Ok a bit late in the month but hey ho, I'm setting myself some targets.

    The usuals:
Grocery challenge already put about this
And the make £5 a day
    NSD challenge

AND...I'd like to get rid of all unwanted dvd's, c.d's and books. Now I might not be able to sell them all (broken/bits missing etc) so I just want a general de-clutter too. I've today been through one drawer of dvd's (about 300 in there :o) and got around 12 dvd's, wii games, computer games out that we don't watch/ have never watched/ have duplicates of. can sell those as they were all there. The c.d's I want to see if they are scratched. If dh has transferred to hard drive then they are good to sort into trash/ebay pile

I did have a good clear out of books a few months ago so hoping there won't be many there. If there is I think they will be trash pile (the ones the little ones have got hold of ) I went through all their jigsaws earlier and every single box was smashed up, pieces all over my floor, and some had bits bitten off them. SO i think when kids are in bed I am going to sort out what is still useable and what is not and keep/throw away accordingly.

We also have tonnes of soft toys that are hardly played with (in fact 50% PROB never played with) so may do some research on ebay and see if they are selling...

Also decided to have another sort through my wardrobe this time for evening dresses that I will never wear, 1 cos they don't fit and 2 cos i never go out ...i'm sure the season for festivities is around the corner so will get them out, clean if necessary take nice pics and put them on fleabay and facebook :D

ALL monies to go towards emergency funds until it is topped up and then the f&f settlements :T

:j:T Yey at least he has let you have final say so even if you don't go ahead you can make plans! I personally would though, Your situation seems so similar to how ours was and finally for the first time in forever we have money to buy food that isn't on credit or overdraft!

It takes a while to set it up too so just remember that if you were to do it now it prob won't be done until december, but that would be just in time for a fresh start for 2012 ;)

sorry to be a pain but if i said yes to go ahead today would i start making minimal payments to creditors until they have set it up. I would then be saving something i assume? Although DH said it was up to me as such he was not keen when i told him most of his wages need to come to me so that i can then forward them to the correct places. Told him he can keep his phone, fags and petrol money but he wasnt keen
