  • Unfortunately I spent money today. My own fault. Bought scone & coffee at work so washing up was not done and no clean bowls.
Bought crisps and sandwiches for dinner as one piece of bread left and it was going mouldy.

    Assuming slm had an NSD:
    happy & DFW on 4
    slm on 3
    and I'm trailing on 2.

Tomorrow will be £36 as my daughter has a 2 hour driving lesson.

    Well done to everybody else.
Although I have 6 days of at least 30 minutes exercise in a row. At least I have some good news.

I will PM you the survey site although I cannot find a joining page. I even tried to Google it.

  • Thanks Bonnington got the pm :) (although couldn't find a join page either!)

Would it work out cheaper just to send your daughter on an intensive driving course OR buy lessons in bulk as they usually give discount then? I know when i was learning to drive I thought £12 was extortionate :rotfl: and £22 for a double was like daylight robbery  so glad i can drive already, i'd never be able to afford it! I guess I should start saving for my 12 yr old now huh and be prepared!

ooh looks like a spendy day for all of us!

Seeing as though I had already blown the NSD I tried to salvage another one for next week :rotfl:(is this cheating lol) I was going to get the food shop in on Monday but got it today as I had already spent :p......

was a little disappointed with myself though, I thought it would only cost £20 but came to £47.88  I did buy 2.5kg of washing powder that was on offer though so that was £3.20 x 2! Should last 50 washes though or so it says .... I also picked up two tins of quality street as had 2 x £1 off vouchers for them that ran out today :T so they were £8 for the two (will do as xmas pressies though!) so just for those few bits that was £14.40 :o so food was around £30+ suppose not bad but not really good enough seeing as though I spent £91 last week for 2 weeks! £30+ is not a top up :o!! Hmm anyway damage done now. Hopefully I won't spend on food again now until next weekend. I have a little over £100 left on my budget so am really going to have to meal plan next week!

I have 2 bidders on ebay and 6 different items are being watched. They end tomorrow afternoon so I am hoping for a nice profit (even a tenner would be nice :rotfl:)

Supposed to go and watch son tomorrow in a school thing but he is ignoring texts and calls so don't want to just turn up in case we needed tickets. This will save us £50 in petrol so is good, but I would like to see him. It seems he doesn't want to see us though as he is constantly saying he doesn't want to come out for things :( suppose I must look at the brighter side, he enjoys boarding. Hoping he doesn't hate mummy though :(!!!

So if we don't do that tomorrow I will take kids to zoo in morning to burn off some energy and then just wait for ebay to end I think. Feeling very low on energy again these last few days so don't want to overdo things. DH thinks I am playing the martyr and there is nothing wrong with me......which I guess there isn't apart from the fact I don't even have energy to stand up without feeling like i'm going to pass out never mind run around after two toddlers!

    Anyway, rant over.

My friend had her baby today :T and I bought her a card whilst in supermarket. I found the cheapest one 75p and felt very tight....but never mind it was pretty enough! Only be on display for a few weeks then go in a box! I made her a present for baby rather than spending £5-10 on an outfit in supermarket! I made a sock monkey from ma pair of baby socks! It is teeny and cute lol and baby friendly as I stuffed with toy stuffing & didn't use eyes (just embroidered them on) so that is how I spent my afternoon, and this evening, well, I intend on.... The half bottle of wine left in fridge. And the fix-factor. Then bed. Shattered and hoping I will wake up brimming with the energy of a three year olf on smarties tomorrow :D

I have checked surveys and I am about £3 on one away from pay out. and 250 points on another before pay out so hopefully that will be paid out by christmas for pressies :T

  • Im sure DS doesn't hate you, hes at a funny age. My son dont tell me when things are happening at school he says DD1 is too embarrassing she either shouts to him or starts to throw a paddy if she cant run around.

I was looking on gumtree at distributing leaflets, I think it will fit in with the kids better although keep thinking maybe I should wait til the winters over! Avoid mailbox they dont pay up!

  • Just a quick post today. Everybody appears to have had a spend day so no change to yesterday's figures.

I distributed leaflets a number of years ago when I was made redundant from a job. It is good exercise as well as getting paid for doing it.
    I hope you are successful.
Only a couple of weeks until your holiday, it will soon be here.

  • morning :)

Happy, I *think* that is who I applied to :( glad you told me that before I might have been offered anything though! You wouldn't know of any other companies that offer these jobs would you??

Bonnington, I think that I'm going to have to take some money from our emergency funds to pay for our trip away :( and also the petrol! It's only 3 nights though so i'm thinking £100 tops should do it!

I also have keys sent out to father to have a look at the state of my house and what needs to be done before i can rent it again. I've also asked him if anyone is selling locally (he has houses on same road and visits far more than me so knows what's going on) but only 1 house on the whole estate sold in the last 5 months not good news for me especially as that was a 4 bed detached too and mine is a tiny terrace, drat! :( !

I've decided to do an alternative version of PAD. Obviously i'm on a DMP so can't make seperate extra payments without raising suspicion, and conflict between creditors  SO have decided to put away money into a bank account each day/week (if i need to pay in cash) This will spur me on to save money for f&f And I'd really like to get rid of some of my smaller creditors by next year sometime! SO will check bank later and see what is available. I'm going to work out my spends for next week and then see what is left. I know I have the dentist which I have to pay for now (last time I went I had a maternity certificate so was free!) so i'm not entirely sure how much that will be. The 2 kids are free at least so only spends for me. Also have my breakfast next week, and am aiming for 5 nsd's during the next week so will have to make use of the free playgroups & zoo pass! I also need to send a parcel to ds as we aren't seeing him today. So will do that on the dentist day to minimise spending. I also have things finishing on Ebay today. Any proceeds are going to the emergency funds and I will print off the postage from paypal so it's paid for straight away out of the money paid for me (also means nsd on the day I post)

I have put two things on facebook to sell. One has already gone (only £4) but that will go into my emergency fund too. Hoping the other one will go soon too as they are quite big items and take up too much room in house :T

Right well off to check that bank account of mine and see what is what, and how much I can afford to put into my pad account :T
