poor you. wake him up and tell him it needs sorting. My OH would however just get stressed and let me deal with it!

I hope you get lodgers in soon as well to take one of the stresses off.

OH finished his job a week ago and although he has got agency work it is only paying a part of his last wages so it is even tighter and he is stressing about things. On a good point i did get the remaining of my inheritance last week so if i need to i will have to use this but OH still doesnt know about it. I really wanted to pay 1 of the credit cards off so it would free a bit more up each month but will wait and see i think. He takes his lorry test week of 15th so hopefully after that he can get better paid job, but its the bit until then i am worried about. Sorry taking over your diary again.

Have a coffee and biscuit and calm for 10 min then deal with it all :)

    Hi DFW
Sorry to hear that DH pay has been messed up. Would the school accept installments?

If the interest is more on the credit card than what you would make in savings interest each month i would go ahead, personally, and pay it off. Then put back what you would be spending each month on dd's into a savings? Good luck to your OH on his test! I was nervous enough doing a normal driving test never mind a big lorry lol! And don't be silly you make me feel much better when you come on (in a selfish way :o as i know i'm not the only one going through the trials and tribulations of life!) xx

  • Well Dh is back at work now, so some sort of normality has returned. Roll on next week when ds1 is back at school (please don't think me awful parent!) and dd has started nursery. I'm exhausted from stress at the lot of them :(

Speaking of which have just got back from dr's this afternoon and changed my medication for my depression. It wasn't my usual dr though so am a little unsure if the locum has suggested the right thing. I was on 40 mg of an anti depressant and wanted to change so i assumed they would need to reduce dosage slowly until i stopped it then start me at a low dose on a new one and work up till where i felt better. But locum was very nice and all but suggested i swap to a different brand (with different type of drug in) at 60mg  surely i should have been put on same dosage or as i said before lower old one and start low on new one. She insisted though that it would be ok, but part of my depression means i get very anxious and paranoid about things like this and now i can't stop worrying. Really unsure as whether to start them or go back to dr's again!>! I don't want to undermine the dr i saw by doing this but i googled the drug she gave me and it seems a pretty strong one. Anyway moan over. I'm sure noone has any idea either way, dh doesn't listen though so nice to get it off my chest! She also suggested that i take one hour off a day and do something by myself. Can you even imagine that happening? Pffffft i wish! The depression would prob not be here at all if i had 'me' time lol!

Anyway jobs left for today, inventory of xmas pressies and what is left to buy.
Pop to asDa and get some cheap storage boxes to put them in (saw some on offer)
Curry for dinner (already cooked overnight in slow cooker)
    Put clothes away
see what else ds needs for school - he seems to add new things to my list every day so think i will check myself!

glad i can help - you are definately not alone. i can also relate to the feeling of needing school and nursery to start up again to prevent loss of sanity :)

  • :mad:OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH ]

just wrote a reply and it deleted it arghhhhhhhh

    here we go again :wall:

so stressful day today! :mad:ds1 being little b****r from h**L! And DD will NOT stop whinging!

AND i had major problems at bank this morning! stood in !!!!!!!g Q forever! Then got there and asked to withdraw money to get 'oh well sure, where is your cheque book' :doh:i of course had forgotten it :wall: what with kids playing up and trying to get them to keep their clothes on before we left house i barely forgot to put my shoes on never mind remember a cheque book  so i'm stood at front of queue, holding my temper (not really cashiers fault, def kids fault and queue length!) and I find myself lying and saying it has been stolen when i got mugged on holiday :whistle:.............hmmm o.k so we were robbed on hols (forgot to put that in earlier entry) my ds1 mobile (yes brand fricking new one ) was taken from a pub restaurant  so £150 down drain, anyway i am digressing, so i lie and say it's been nicked ..........soooooooooo i have to fill out one million and one forms to have it cancelled and a new one ordered. then my signature doesn't match one on record (i was kinda stressy and ready to burst by now) so i had to re-do and show lots of i.d :wall::wall::wall::wall::wall::wall: eventually half hour later (no lie there!) i got my money out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So i now have cash at home for grocery, entertainment (already spent £15 on mcdonalds!), petrol, and other bits n bobs.....have put £1000 in to emergency fund, £150 into school fees (plus what i had 'borrowed' ) and £20 into insurance savings. And where did i get the cash you might be thinking lol, well as dh work messed up i 'borrowed' the money from an isa we had opened with £4k of money we owe to dh work (they haven't asked for it yet so we put in an account we wouldn't touch. well they messed up so if they ask for it now i will personally tell them where to go !!! at least till the bonus does come through anyway lol)

So have today been through all the kids wardrobes thrown 3 laundry baskets worth in a charity shop bag -NONE was good enough to re-sell...what the heck do my kids do to their clothes?! And tomorrow am going to big shopping centre an hours drive away to get some stuff that fits and will last the winter so i hope winter stock is already in lol!

wow feeling so stressed think i ought to go find some chamomile tea and relax! This is exactly what i was worried about with changing tablets so quickly!! :(_pale_

Anyway that is my update for today! will be out shopping and trying to stick to budget tomorrow but really depends on how much my kids are driving me insane as to how much i spend!!!! :D and when tablets say do not drink alcohol with these tablets do they really mean it :rotfl::think: i really need a stiff drink right about NOW ;)

    dfw xx

i was wondering how you were getting on and if today had gotten any better - i guess not! I really hope the tablets dont cause you more worry. OH informed me today that his first wage packet from the agency would only cover his phone bill as it would automatically come out of his bank and therefore probably nothing left for me to pay bills with - i am not surprised which is why i havent paid off cr cards yet.

Hey ho really hope you get some good clothes for the kids and that they behave a little tomorrow. Keep going :)
