  • Holiday to Haven is all paid off :D :j

Also ordered fun pass pack things for the kids to do they better be worth it they were £50 alone lol!

Have also transferred my money for the car tax this month £25...so the total of that is £130 now :j:T I should have enough come end of July to get a year's tax this time!!!

I've also completed all my ironing today (about 3 baskets worth!) And just need to pack bags again ready to go away this weekend! I feel like i've only just un-packed them tbh, and can't wait for normality to return!

    NSD #1 here though :j

And am going to enjoy a nice cold glass of wine when my hair dye is off (yes i'm dying it again!) hoping it all goes one colour as I only bought one bottle and my hair is quite long and thick....otherwise it will be a hat jobby tomorrow until i can get to the shops for more :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    have a lovely evening all

  • Thursday

Well today I am supposed to be going to london, hmmmm, well I should be, but really can't be bothered, also I haven't actually packed :o soooooooo I am going to go to breakfast with the girls at 10am then decide from there :rotfl:

I am exhausted after my few weeks, what with nan passing, family rowing and doing nearly 1000 mile trips in the car :( i need a pick me up! May have to steal some of the energy drinks in the fridge that i've seen :rotfl:

I've made a dr appointment although the nearest one they had was NEXT thursday (god knows what you do if you really needed to see a dr!) so am going to talk to her about either changing anti d's or reducing them. I don't like the way they make you feel, always tired (am hoping it's just these anyway), scatty (am like this anyway so imagine this 10 x worse lol) and other side effects such as teeth grinding  & headaches!

I've also decided to lose some weight, seriously this time ( i know i say this everytime lol) I'd be happy with half a stone off as means I can fit into all my clothes properly and not have to go out and get new ones! (Am also wondering if anti d's are responsible for increased appetite and weight gain? never ever had a problem with my weight before!)

SO will try and add into my sig my goals so i can keep track, if i have no room on there will just keep track on here!

Anyway another ramble from me that probably makes no sense ;)so i'm off for a:coffee::dance::grouphug: actually I just fancied using those little icon things lol I doubt i will be dancing or dodgy group hugging :rotfl:but a cuppa is def on the books!

  • Got kids in bed early thanks to them not having a nap earlier :) and very weirdly i had 2 requests from 2 different people for sock monkeys!

Not made one since christmas, and I over did myself on them then, must have made 100+ in 3 months in the run up to the big day. And straight after I didn't want to go near my sewing machine :rotfl:

But I have a whole big bag of socks, a HUGE bag of stuffing that hasn't even been opened yet, threads, sewing machine all ready to go...all i need is to order some embroidery threads & eyes and i'm ready to go! SO am thinking I might start making them, slowly but surely ready for the run up to xmas again. I reckon if I can make on average 4 a week, thats 16 a month and over a 100 by xmas . I need to look around to see how other people are pricing them as i was def undercharging last year at only £9 for the large one....no wonder I burnt out lol....everyone wanted one! And I do enjoy doing them and may give me something more constructive to do with my hands rather than shovelling food into my mouth :rotfl::rotfl: Tonight I ran up 5 on the machine but only finished one, so wil get started on the others next week now as am going to mum tomorrow!

Not sure what I should use the money towards, but thinking I should put into seperate account could perhaps use it to pay for xmas pressies etc. Also need to work out where I am going to sell them too. Ohhh feeling quite excited about it all now :T

Anyway I hear a baby crying....i jinxed it saying they were good and in bed sleeping *sigh* :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi DFW

Sorry I've not popped by for a few days.

Hope you're feeling abit livlier, you've had alot on and its no wonder that you're getting run down. Its not easy with 2 tinies and DH been away, I've been there and done it so fully sympathise!

I need to loose half a stone as well for a starter, a stone would be ideal but half to start with would be good. Maybe I'll start that as my next challenge from 1st July!

Your DS bargain games sound great, my DS likes books and has now worked out that he gets better value by buying them from Mr As than WH Smiths so he's learning money skills really well.

I'm sorry but I had a chuckle about your posting the other day when you went to see the welfare man carrying one baby covered in jam and another sandy baby with knotty hair, muttering away to yourself, it could be me that you're writing about!! I always seem to get myself into a right tizz, ending up ranting, effing and jeffing!!

Hope its all sorted, take care xxxx

Well done again on your DF status (lucky b1atch ;) ) And I think I will rename myself Vicky (as in pollard.....little britain) I certainly reminded myself of her whilst screaming and shouting the odds at my poor welfare man :rotfl: (i did apologise though lol)

    Hi DFW

Sorry you've not had the best week, hopefully it will calm down for you when you get home and get back to a routine.

We sound very similar, I tend to rant and rave at some poor individual and then actually listen to what they're saying, agree with them and apologise to them. My poor DH isn't confrontational and always leaves me to do the ranting whilst he stands there looking embarrassed!

    Hope your week improves xx
  • catch up

    Friday last week!

had a lsd as only needed to pay for tunnel to mums. Had dinner at nan's house so didn't have to pay for anything there.

    Saturday

Went shopping for trousers for DS as he had outgrown all his black trousers. Ended up spending about £100 :o:o:o picked up some bargains for DD & DS2 for xmas in the sales. Also bought myself a black dress. And bought some food in s'bugs and some more petrol oh and a mcd's :o:o

Was also my nephew's birthday party so went there, although I didn't need to pay for anything as food was all there, and i had bought birthday pressie & card about 3 months early lol :rotfl:-that's organised for ya :p

Oh and i also STUPIDLY. !!!!!. Hit my wing mirror and smashed it :( grrrrrrrrrrrr! Then I took the pram out of the car, and dropped it from my grip and smashed the light casing on the driver side at the back....day really wasn't a good one for the car!

    Sunday

day before the funeral and it all kicks off again after being quiet from family members. Try to ignore it but i ended up with awful tummy pains from IBS (always get when stressed/upset) Ended up going for a little retail therapy.....i did bring back black dress so £25 up....and then spent it all again on some black shoes :o hmmmmm.

    Monday

Day of funeral. Instead of going from aunt's house (household causing all the trouble) I went from mum's house and met sisters, and bro there. Obviously this didn't please afore mentioned family members. we were then shunned at the funeral which was rather difficult as I was doing the reading on behalf of all the grandchildren and great grandchildren. Even my uncle who is my mother's brother (other side of family....he is an in law to the deceased so no relation) said nothing, and looked down at his feet when I looked at him to say hello. AND they insist they have said nothing about any of us....they must think i was born yesterday! So afterwards we went our seperate ways we decided not to go to the assigned wake venue as we could see it kicking off (uncle is very likely to cause arguments with a single drink in him) so we had a good time remembering her & getting slightly squiffy :rotfl:and was far more relaxed than if we had gone to other place. Only thing was because of this I never got to speak to my nan's sisters from Ireland that i had wanted to meet. Anyway the day that i had been dreading had happened and wasn't anything that i hadn't expected :A RIP nan!

    Tuesday

after being out drinking till midnight and then being kept awake all night by a teething toddler, i fell out of bed at 6 am to take DS1 back to school. Got to car. Car had VERY low tyre, so went and pumped back up but thought it must be a slow puncture as kept feeling very low whilst driving....by the time we had done this and filled up petrol we only had an hour to get him back to schoo. Both of us were starving, the traffic had just started to appear for rush hour and the car felt like it was going to actually implode...damned thing is falling apart....SO I got to school with 5 mins to spare! :T! AND to his dorm with seconds to spare lol, by the time we had got him into uniform we couldn't find matron anywhere (bloody brill huh) so assumed they must be meeting on the square as his class was going on a field trip to the castle ....noone there! So thought ok we'll meet at castle....drive to castle. castle not open. great. Drive out of castle and POP! the tyre had burst on one of the busy commuter roads. excellent. Just MY luck! SO i drive off the road with burst tyre, yes I know it's not good for car, but at this point i wanted to actually set fire to the damned thing and watch it BURN! So called my insurance company who put me through to recovery people (thank god I had foresight to see this one coming) and they said an hour. I had to get son to castle in one hour and also wait for recovery in the same hour. True it was only across the road, but didn't think it looked good me sending son up the busy road by himself (even if he is 12) So luckily the class actually walked by where we wer broken down 10 minutes later!! So there is me with tyre marks all over beige trousers, in hair and face and calling 'coo-eeee' across the road 'room for one more' (VERY embarrassing. i don't look good on a hangover + no make up+ not time to brush hair + car oil/dirt all over me) Man came to change my tyre 15 mins later and i got a good telling off for having a practically bald tyre (:o:o- I am ashamed to say i hadn't even noticed!) so off i set with spare tyre on straight to quick fit (this is what i told man anyway-) I actually drove back to mums picked her up, went for fry up, and then searched for second hand tyre place. found one and pleaded insanity & poverty and they changed 2 tyres for £40 :T result. Finally!

Then because of impending hangover i went and spent a small fortune on chocolate & diet coke (not sure why i bothered with DIET coke considering the amount of chocolate consumed by hey ho)

    Wednesday

Had to buy petrol again today so that was another £50 quite literally down the drain :(. Got home in time for my weekly shopping and nearly bit the poor drivers head off because they had substituted my ravioli (adsa own) with heinz! :o! He was very nice about it and refunded it. And it was only after he went that i realised they had charged me for one and put two in....i had only given one back as thought that was all there was. SO really I got one free :o:)!

Shopping was £53.70 for the week. And hopefully it will last that long. WIll update sig after this.

Also got home to several letters from NPower about the bill that should have been sorted out last week :mad:that isn't even mine! And 2 more defaults :(. Nearly have enough to paper my living room with now....just a few more to go!

Jobs for today are to get my washing done and in tumble drier (raining again) and that is it! I intend to chill this evening and try and regain normal blood pressure (which for normal people is high anyway!!)

I will try and catch up with everyone's diaries later on, and I must remember to sky+ supernatural!!!! :D Absolutely love dean & sam and have waited patiently all year for them to return! yey! - boooo that i have to wait until hubby is back to watch with him though! DO you think he would mind if i watched it first and again with him later on :rotfl:

bit of a boring update, nothing happy, nothing too MSE --oo oo except i got £32 cashback from quidco last week- just noticed it today yey-- and nothing really debtbusting, so i hope you all enjoy reading about family rifts and being being a pl*nka with the car!!!!
