Have booked a few days away for us all over easter, just before DS1 goes bk to school
we're off to Tamworth to go to drayton manor & the snowdome (only DH & DS doing this as two little ones too small -boooo) can't wait
managed to get discount on the hotel, discount on the tickets and it's all booked so i know if we run out of money it doesn't matter cos we have paid!
NSD here otherwise so up to 3(not counting the break away as money was put aside the other day for this)
Taking kids swimming tomorrow, they've out voted me and want the leisure pool with flumes lol so will be paying for that. But i saved money on brekkie this morning, the thought of parting with nearly £15 for all of us was too much haha (am getting a little obssessive about parting with cold hard cash!)
Tomorrow we are also going to check out the local wholesalers as DH has a card. Try and stock up on some essentials that are cheaper, which may put our food budget over this month but hoping in all it will save us next month- this is the plan anyways!
Have also done the menu planner for the rest of the month so need to price it all up on my supermarket before we go to see where is cheapest.
DH got through his Barclaycard bill they have dropped interest down to 0.5% which is much better than my CC's...he seems to be getting a much better result with his creditors than me for some reason *scratches head*???!
Anyhow bed and dvd for me tonight...my life rocks, doesn't it!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. WOW big spend day today, we went to the local wholesalers and stocked up on everything that worked out cheaper, meat, drinks, rice, veg etc, got a HUGE block of cheese for a fiver too! So all in all spent ....(omg wait for it...drum roll) ....£246  which takes me Waaaaaaaaaaay over my budget for the month
lol but as we had extra money in the account i'd rather stock up on a month where we have money so that hopefully next month we won't have to spend as much! (i bl**dy hope so anyway)
Took the kids swimming but took the money already allocated for entertainment, so that was fine. DH is gonna take kids out tomorrow for a trip to the zoo, (free yey) so i can stay at home and spend the day cleaning! Hmmm....something wrong there lol, but my house needs a proper clean spring after 6 months of superficial cleaning lol and i can't trust hubby to do it properly (will end up doing it all again) so he gets the fun day out instead of me! Ah well...whoever said it was easy being a mum was wrong!
It's been very quiet on here (and a few other diaries i read often) so i am assuming people are taking advantage of the hot weather (mind not had any here for a few days) or off on their jollies for easter! Or perhaps the kids are just keeping everyone super busyeither way i hope everyone is well and still debt busting!

Having a bit of a down day today, shouldn't be really, the kids are out with their dad at the zoo and i should be cleaning (or just chilling out alone ) but came onto FB today to an inbx msg from some silly t*rt that was clearly trying to crack onto DH when we were at a 1st birthday party/bbq the other week, she was drunk and practically following him around, passing her baby off onto him and just generally irritating the hell out of me. I'd only had him home a few days myself and then some other woman was doing this because her BF hadn't returned from afg*an yet  anyway the mutual friend who's party it was, i thought she was pretty much the closest friend i had around here, thought i could trust her.
So, i spoke to her about it and now she has clearly told the woman in question and i've received inbox msgs regarding it, telling me my DH is hardly anything to look at and she wouldn't be so insulted etc etc....has really put me in a bad mood now!!!
DH is also going out later for a friends 30th so money will be spent there. I have to keep reminding myself that it's ok he can spend 'his' money as long as he doesn't touch the wages as we need that to live on, and the debt is finally coming down, we've added nothing to it since January (apart from the defaults & charges we may still have received)
I've think i've just spent so long with no money at all, and now we are on a DMP it seems like we actually have money left over at the end of the month (albeit pennies sometimes) but it means we aren't accruing anymore debt. I sat last night and thought about it and i've been in debt ever since my first DS was born - I was 19 then and i'm 32 now! that's a bl**dy long time huh, always robbing from peter to pay paul, and it seems DH just wants to live for the moment and isn't bothered still about adding to debt. It seems i have had my LBM but i'm not so sure he actually did have his at the same time! Wonder if there are other ways i can make him realise that blowing £300 in one go is not acceptable, that we are not millionaires, we are normal people with 2.3 kids and a crappy income!!
WOW sorry miserable post there, feels better for having got it off my chest though! Think i actually will get up now and go clean! The house needs it and i could probably do with a workout!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. it must be a solider thing as my ex is exactly the same and yet the cheeky !!!!!! went through his lawyer to tell me i was to curb MY spending, so i sent my lawyer my credit card statements which prove I haven't put anything on them since Nov 2009, also my bank statements to prove that I had money at the end of the month as well as my savings account...........when they asked his lawyer to provide same items HE refused lol what does that tell you x x x
As for that vile excuse of a women.....just ignore her rise above it and just rememeber, your married to him, he's yours not hers and people would have saw what she was up to when hitting on your hubby so shes the one who looks like a tramp......not you or your man x x x x (((((hugs)))))))NEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
Thanks hun, she has now blocked me on fb lol, ah well, I called mutual friend in question and she has text *tramp* and had words....i've told her not to bother though. At my age i really don't give a toss anymore about things like this
and think it may have all got out of hand because the *tramp* (as i shall now call her
) is only young and pretty immature also. Yes you could say i'm immature for name calling but ah whatever, I can't really post her real name on here can I, can I???
joke!
Anyway today's news...I've started a bloglove telling the world about my boring life haha, so thought I would start one, I won't post the link on here, as I have used real names etc but if anyone is interested pm me and I may send you the link

I dont miss the wives one bit lol don't get me wrong i still have a couple of the wives as friends but have known them for 10 years and still keep in touch but the majority of them.............................................mmmmmmmmmm i mostly think that silly young girls love the idea of being married to a solider and guaranteed to get a house, they don't realise how much hard work it is or how lonely it can be.
As for the name calling, i find it better than calling them there real name as i find you get more angry saying there real name lolNEXT TARGET: Halifax credit card DEC 22 £0 / £4499.12POAMAYC 2011 £6378.35 POAMAYC 2012 £5000.78POAMAYC 2013 £3480.04 POAMAYC 2014 £4085.14POAMAYC 2015 £7565.24 POAMAYC 2016 £8000.90 POAMAYC 2017 £7278.80 POAMAYC 2018 £13208.18POAMAYC 2019 £13309.28 POAMAYC 2020 £15026.050 -
