  • oooh yes i love making lists, but even more i love ticking them off as i do them ;)

Have decided to put £50 away into our savings for MOT, Car maintenance as i may have budgeted for this in the SOA (can't remember) but have not actually been putting it into a seperate account. and our car is so tempermental (played up again yesterday) so i just don't want a big surprise bill that means we need to take money from else where on our budget. As i'm going to Post office today i will transfer £50 for march to start it off -it's all going into one account atm so i'm thinking of opening a few basic accounts, one for car, one for school fees/uniforms etc, and one for any savings that we might have does anyone else have seperate accounts or am i just going to make it even more complicated lol

  • had 3 NEW catalogues today  the companies haven't even acknowledged i'm on a DMP and that they agree to terms (so i am guessing they don't and will all continue to charge interest) AND i had a pre-approved letter from a credit card (one which is already a creditor !!?!)

Anyway i've thrown all of them in the recycling bin! Didn't even open the catalogues apart from to seperate for recycling and take my name out! Feels good too :D

That list does sound like a fab idea, but I'm just not sure I'd have a great deal to put in it :o

  • Well i called the army (finally) and was told they have no lawnmowers in stock lol so have to wait for one,, hopefully it will arrive in time for DH to do it instead of me ;) he can't say i didn't try then lol

Bit of a faff around with the school bill today so have to sort that out, being told i never handed in the receipt to say we paid the money to the school, which we did! DH regiment are bloody useless sometimes

NSD here for me :) and good news on my furniture it's arriving tomorrow!! I called this morning and they told me they were going to call me today anyway as it had arrived yesterday to arrange delivery! but as i called i got first choice of delivery slot wohoo! can't wait :) i have clothes all over my bedroom, be nice to have somewhere to put them!

DH flight has been delayed :( so he's back 2 weeks again today....(was 2 weeks yesterday!) hopefully no more delays and tomorrow i can say he is back in one week (& 6 days ;) ) !!

Nothing to report on debt busting, but DH is getting his bonus in this month's wages :D so we are going to use 2K to pay off on debts, although with his unexpected tax bill cropping up he wants to use it on that so i don't think i will be knocking my figures down on here anytime soon (BOOO :wall:) as i never added the tax bill to my debt on here as it's in dispute....but hubby thinks he shoudl just pay it then take his former 'friend/partner' to court?

Oh well. We will be getting a holiday though and DH wants to buy me an eternity ring :T yey! Will have to shop around see if any good jewellers do cashback :money: :rotfl:

Oh and i ticked a few more things off on my list :D i got the kids toys out of the garage! hmm actually that's the only one i actually fully completed lol but still....I am waiting for the new seal for my washing machine door to arrive, in fact i think i may have missed it today as had a red card. will get them to re-deliver save me on petrol ;) and will attempt to fix it myself! If i find it utterly impossible (tres likely!) then will wait till DH home and use a friends machine :rotfl:

Am feeling in a very good mood today i think the fresh air and warmer days (no sun here though but not grey) are making me feel brighter! I seriously think my depression has something to do with the seasons, i seem to be fine in summer & absolutely miserable in winter

ANYway! off to clean! Have the furniture men in the house tomorrow so can't use my bedroom as a dumping ground anymore! lol:rotfl:
