mother's day is 3rd april i think?! I got a groupon voucher for a canvas, was £35 & £5 p&p and i paid £17 and am splitting that 3 ways ....we got a canvas of all the grandkids from all of the daughters lol so was nice and cheap and looks good too! I also got mum's birthday pressie which is in May, she hasn't got a garden anymore and loves gardening so i bought her some herb pots & seeds

Just a quick update today
Got my 6th NSD at last! And am aiming for another tomorrow (really need to reign in my internet shopping when bored)
Only 2 and bit weeks till hubby is home so i will be kept busy in the evenings then at leastam really missing adult company right now! Talking (or trying to) to a 2 yr old and a 1 yr old just isn't the same! :rotfl:no matter how much i love them i do crave other company sometimes!
Need to go to dr's tomorrow for blood tests, and need to pop to homebase for a refund & also price up a new door so i can claim money back from old tenants on the one they broke ! So hopefully some money coming bk there soonMUST close eyes as i walk to customer service for refund and then to the door section and all the way out the shop though! Knowing my spending habits i will find nails an interesting thing to buy
:o
Made sausage rolls for the first time today and they tasted yummy with caramalised onion mixed inthey didn't exactly 'look' like sausage rolls
but never mind they tasted good haha :rotfl:
Nothing else to report apart from I am exhausted and off to bed!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. Well I had another NSD today :T:j wohoo perhaps i am back on track now after my bit of madness last week. - I could never be a millionaire. If i know i have extra money i just HAVE to spend spend spend...something in my brain is wired all wrong!! I need to re-wire it to save save save lol.
Had bloods done at drs have to wait a week for results. Went to shop for my friend and i didn't spend anything :T checked bank balances and that was it!
Got a nice sausage casserole cooking now, was supposed to go in the slow cooker but i never got round to it this morning lol so it's in the oven instead now. Hopefully enough to freeze at least 2 portions as well! Smells yummy
Not much else to report...apart from i nearly had a heart attack at an astronomically high electric bill this morning  £300+ quid for only 3 months!!!!!!!!!!! I called up and apparently it's a run on bill from my last supplier....what ever that means? But should mean it was for longer than 3 months- i bl**dy hope so i wouldn't mind but i'm really good at switching things off now! and my gas is only £40 a month so surely the elec should be cheaper?! Argh i don't know and they confuse me with numbers and jargon so i just agree :rotfl:anyway off to finish dinner i'm starved!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. hi dfw321,
£300!! WOW are they going to let you submit a reading then?
I feel very hungry all of a sudden - I think first off I caught up on posts and read about Ikea - mmmm meatballs and then you said you made sausage rolls and and now the casserole - I need to go find a snack0 -
Glad my electric is less than £300 or £100 a month but jealous of only £40 a month for gas!GC 2024 £1445.91/£3000

Well I rang up British Gas this morning (who were our last suppliers) and we didn't pay them a final bill -which i thought we had but my filing system is not brilliant so have no way to prove i did or didn't (as think i did it in cash!) so £100+ is from september- whenever southern electric took over from them so we will pay southern electric rather than BG as they work out cheaper if you see what i mean!?
I swear they just talk numbers and dates until you say 'yes, yes, whatever i'll pay' as i have no idea what they are talking about!
Today i went out to breakfast, my weekly treatand spent around £5 on mine & kids brekkie, tea & diet coke! Also had to send a parcel off so was another £5 ..am in for the day now so hopefully no more spends. Am waiting on some money to go into my account still -they seem to take so long giving money owed but if i ever owe a company then they go all out to get money from me asap ;(
Must list some more stuff on ebay today, have got 3 things which have bids on at the mo and lots of watchers on my 17 things but all ending soon so i hope people start bidding as i want some space in my house!!! Everything is on at 99p so people can't say i'm ripping them off lol and i have made sure this time i have covered postage properly and not undercut myself as i usually do!
Anyway whilst babes are sleeping, mummies must clean! so i'm off to make the most of them being quiet and will be back later lolMORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Oh god that is SO true! But to be fair, their records are probably a lot better than mine, like you say
Where do you go to get all that breakfast for only £5!? I barely get breakfast and a cuppa for just me for that in Morrisons
Your very good for keeping on with Ebay... I'm really lazy with it now and although I love the money rolling in I hate all the bl**dy posting :rotfl:
