Check you out! All organised and making lists!
I have to say I couldn't think of many things to put on my list, but it does sound like a cool way to get organised
Happy anniversary btw!

Hi ABBA & DB, I do :heart2: my lists lol, sometimes the only way i can go to sleep at night is to switch back on the light go find a pen and paper and write down all the things on my mind -which are usually lists of things i need to do :rotfl: and once my mind is clear of jobs i can sleep :rotfl:
Well a quick catch up, GC is updated in my signature, I am on NSD no# 5 (i think?!) and 3 in a row :j today i had MIL & SIL over (well they stayed last night) and i just defrosted a beef curry from the freezer for everyone :rotfl:and was complemented on how nice it was and how long it must have taken to cook
My bed arrived yesterday and i spent an hour taking the old one apart, and 4 hours  swearing, shouting and getting beaten up (by bed) before i managed to get new one up! Came out of it alive, just, and only had a swollen bleeding lip several bruises and an episode of vertigo so all is well that ends well :rotfl:(lip still bl**dy hurting today though owwwwww)
Brekkie this morning was paid for by SILAND i got a free massage too from a threapist (treat for army wives whilst hubby is deployed) and MIL & SIL left me £20 bless them, i did protest i felt guilty as i only made them dinner & they drove over wasting their petrol & bought me brekkie but they still left it
only 24 days now (am on count down!) and DH is back-super exciting! I may get a whole night sleep within the next month wahey! -my little terrors woke up 6 times between them last night each time for their dummy which was RIGHT in front of them  blinking kids!!

Is it wrong to lol at you getting beaten up by a bed :rotfl:
My little girl loves her dummy too and often wakes up if she can't find it... but my trick is a tie a bit of ribbon to the handle/ring of the dummy and make a loop in the other end which can hook around the top button of her pyjamas. I've been doing this for ages so now if she looses it in the night she knows just to have a quick grope around and it's there :T This is by far the best baby tip I have ever had.
I hope it's a quick 24 days for you until hubby is back! How long is he back for?

lol well the funny thing is...(OR NOT) that both of my kids have their dummies tied to them with ribbon ...my mum gave me this tip many years ago with my first...unfortunately last night they were on a roll waking one another up and generally just whinging, and refused to even look for it  argh!!!!! :wall:tonight they seem to be better....perhaps because MIL & SIL have gone home now...AND as well as the bed beating me up i put the mattress on the wrong way so i had the hard bit of the memory foam last night ...tonight i luckily realised my mistake and flipped it over :T it's nice and soft & comfy now (well softer than last night's was like sleeping on concrete!) ...hubby now wants posh pillows to match...wish i hadn't told him about me getting my tenants rent money now today lol but it is nice to have something to show for it thats for sure esp after spending (excuse the pun) the last yr worrying about money so much!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. Your list is fantastic - it's great to tick things off and achieve. There are a couple that I'm not too sure about as they seem more like long term desires rather and it will be hard to cross them off e.g check banks every week, turn tv off once a week and co-op saving - surely these will be ongoing lefe changes rather than part of the to do list. Just a thought - and as I said I'm impressed with the idea of keeping it on here rather than on bits of paper. Think I might borrow this one!GC 2024 £1445.91/£3000

Hey Keggie, yep i noticed that too, then i was going to seperate into two lists, one long term one to keep going, and one short term one but i got bored (hence only getting to 60+ and not 100+) :rotfl::rotfl: maybe i should put that on my list....finish off jobs i start!!
I ordered some bedroom furniture the other day and it was going to take 16 weeks to arrive  so i cancelled the order and went to a local wood shop and found a similar range for similar price :T and i blagged another £50 off by haggling  so i got it in under the price i was going to pay on the other set by £80 :T
AND it will be here in 1-2 weeks wohoo!
Apart from that i also went to matalan and got hubby some new jeans (he threw out most of his clothes before he went away) and they were half price in the sale & a checked shirt- they must be all the rage as that was the only thing i could find :rotfl:(on the sale rail anyway) also got 2 more birthday pressies one for my sister in a few weeks time and one for my other sister in may :T I am so organised this year!!! (so proud of myself
)
Erm no other spends apart from a McDonald's ....it was next door to the furniture shops and it was rude to say no really lol!
Am in bed again feeling bleurgh, hate the 'monthly' visits from aunt flo  been to dr's today and need to go bk next week to have my bloods taken again to test for a zillion things to see why i am falling apart! Tomorrow i was planning a trip to Ikea as i want to finish my bedroom off with a few cheap vases/pics etc after all the bedroom needs to be perfect- hubby hasn't seen it in months- yes yes i know this is just an excuse for my spending habits i really need to go to shoppers anonymous
but i'm not wasting wages money it's the money from moving expenses that we were owed anyway -this IS my excuse and I WILL stick to it!! (someone back me up/ slap me on the wrist! please!)...anyway am putting off trip tomorrow unless i am feeling MUCH better as right now i feel like i'm dying
! (ok slight exaggeration)
Anyway my chocolate calls, hope everyone has a lovely friday evening!MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I'm NEVER organised when it comes to birthdays. It's generally a 'Oh s**t it was who-its birthday last week!' and a run round the shopping centre to grab whatever
Props for getting sorted ahead of the game :T
Have you been to Ikea yet? I think that place is EVIL! You NEVER come out having not bought anything (candles are my usual weakness) as you always think how pretty that light looks and how it only costs £2.50, and how cheap that rug is, and how nice that little table would look in the front room :rotfl: Evil I tell you!
..... nice hot dogs though
