Oh, I'm sorry. I wasnt avoiding you, I have only just seen this, although I did send you a message over on Kerris diary earlier today. I havent really been about much on the diaries, had alot on as most people have, but I am very sad to hear of whats going on with you and DH. I'm sorry you are so unhappy.

I cant offer you much advice really, only a listening ear. Its hard when you dont actually know someone personally isnt it to give constructive advice ? You can only do what seems to be best for you and the children. I am a big believer though, that people shouldnt stay together for the sake of the children as I'm sure they pickup on any bad vibes. I also think that forces life can make things much more fraught and stressful than other relationships. I know Ive said it before, but the coming and going is hard and sometimes just getting to know each other and live together all over again is really really tough.

Hopefully with DH spending some time in the blocks and you in the house it may give you both some breathing space to think through exactly what you both want.

Sending big hugs whizzing along the A12 to you !!! xx

  • ahh thank you pinot xxx :D

Hubby is home. He finished helping me put together the damned flat pack which has 1 screw missing (grrrrrrr)

I'm in bed in a clean room :D no clothes everywhere, a cider on the side, bridget jones on & some nice relaxing smelly candles (oooooooh i love a smelly candle)! 2 yr old, 3 yr old sleeping and 13 yr old on laptop, phone & x-box and who said men/boys couldn't multi-task :p!

I've a last min party to go to tomorrow lunch...just a friend's sons 2nd birthday so will just find a card from my cupboard & a small token pressie. I've also at last replied to dd 1st birthday invite and all is good for her to go :D and she has to go dressed as a princess she will love that!

think dh has disappeared into ds1 room to play games. Ah well. At least i won't have any uncomfortable silences. Ooooooooh and have to say dinner was fab. The ready to roast honey glazed gammon from asda is delicious!!!!!! kids ate it all up, there was enough for 2 or 3 sandwichs.....by the time they'd had 2 or 3 helpings it was all gone  ! def must buy that again!

Ooh I absolutely love a smelly candle. Pre LBM they were lit in the morning as soon as we were up and blown out at bedtime ?!

Do you think it's possible to spend £96,000 on candles?!! Perhaps that's where all the money went !:rotfl:

    Hello dfw321:hello:

I am so so sorry for being AWOL..I am getting back and realise I have missed lots of news..some great and some sad. Well done on the MSE stuff (agree boo to AS3A too) but re your OH it seems for the best. Even, as others have said, if its about a bit of space for a while thats sounds just what you need. Like PG, I have never been one, either, to say stay together for the sake of the DC, you need to be calm and mature about it when making all the obvious arrangements, (even under extreme provocation at times I expect!) but putting up with unhappiness is no life at all!!

Its your diary babe..you write what you want to..we are just happy to read your musings..:T

And any person that likes smelly candles, their children when they are asleep;) and a cider is a friend of mine!!

  • afternoon all :) we'll i've been absent again! Yesterday I had to pop out in the morning as i couldn't find a suitable pressie in my box for a 2 yr old! so just popped to local shop and got a balloon (helium one, kids love them right?! ) and a lil teddy. To be honest that is ALL they had suitable to not much choice lol.

Then went straight to party. My friend is having marital problems also and rather than turn to medititation & reiki she had turned to the bottle  was merrily drunk when i arrived at 12.30pm! Thankfully there were lots of others there looking after the kids! I joined her in one glass (well mine was a spritzer) and i felt so giddy & ill after lol i had to throw it away when she poured me another (shh don't tell her) besides i don't like to drink when looking after lil ones. By the time i got home at 5pm dinner was ready (dh on the case ;) ) and i was in bed by 6.40pm  felt so rough after one glass of wine, what on earth is becoming of me!

Today i trundled down to the dr's at 8.20am. was still sat there at 10.40am :rolls eyes:!!! finally got seen. Infection on chest has cleared but i'm still viral (what ever the heck that is supposed to mean). Go home and rest. Could be weeks before your hearing returns to normal and before your asthma calms down. Yeh right i'll just pop off home and sleep the day away i'm sure the kids will be fine! pfft!

had a cuppa at a friends on way home as i had to walk past hers anyway. Back home now and was another nsd today as i have a pre-paid prescription card for my inhalers :)

My zoo passes have run out today :( so will need to save more money for some ...best work out how much they will be and see what i can do!

    :)

I'm with you there DFW, I dont like drinking with the little ones to look after. I had a friend a few years ago ( I dont see her now, mainly due to her drinking habits actually, but theres another story ) , she would arrive with a few bottles of wine and I swear would drink 3 big glasses to my one spritzer in the middle of the afternoon with the little ones running around. Many a time I had to pile her in a cab and keep the little ones at mine for the night. Each to their own I suppose !

Those Zoo passes can be expensive cant they ? I wonder if there are any offers on anything knocking around out there for cheaper passes ?

:rotfl:i reckon at least a quarter of my debt went on smelly things ;) another quarter on rugs and cushions and another quarter on a stupid broken car and then i only have another quarter unaccounted for :p

i have to say i think my friend is one of those, i left her yesterday once her hubby arrived home, even though she begged me to stay (after supposedly dropping my kids to my eldest son -think not) and get drunk  she always liked a drink...but unlike me where my drinking starts at 7pm (when kids go to bed) she will start during the day  if i drink in the day i will (and was last night) be passed out by 7pm :rotfl: such a lightweight!

We got our zoo passes after dh bonus from his tour last year, i should have bought them out of his back pay last month but that's all gone now :( ....kids love the zoo too and it's so near so i will have to try and save for some more i think :)
