Hi.
Glad you're feeling better today.
I'm not going to say anymore as I may start rambling again, like I did on my post.:rotfl:June 16 Mortgage Amount £82,896.15
Official mortgage end date August 2027
Current rate 2.59% until August 20200 -
i've checked my bank 3 times today, in the hope some money would have miraculously appeared from somewhere :rotfl: but nope nothing! So once the pending money comes out i have around £10 left..... Not good. Especially considering I need petrol money next week & dh called to say he needed some bits sent over to him for the course. He's broken his watch
so hoping i can find another one around the house somewhere  otherwise i have to find money to buy him one. He needs £30 putting in his account
and wants me to buy some mars bars  hmmmmmmmmmmmm. I think i'm going to have to clear out the emergency funds. I was doing quite well i thought, avoiding those but i really want to see ds and dh needs his bits (think our definitions on 'NEED' is slightly different )
Bah, rubbish!
Oh and i had an invoice finally sent through from letting agents. They have charged me 3% for the other 5 months that were paid up front?! are they allowed to do this. I feel like i have been robbed!!! The fees were supposed to be £225 +vat. And in the invoice they have put rent @ 525....3% collection fee- £XX WTH!!!!!!!! I am not happy. I've sent an email stating they are robbing bar stewardsso i doubt i will hear a response anytime soon. THAT will be the last time i use them. Expensive lesson learned. And me £95+ down :mad::mad::mad:

Oh no you are not having a good week are you? As much as the mars bars would be lovely do you think dh could just fantasise over them for a few more days until you get your fuel in the car, or maybe he coud sneekily nab someone elses supply while they are sleeping!!
Good luck with dealing with the letting agents , what a nightmare XLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

I bought the mars bars so not a nsd
i got him 12 from the 99p shop for £4.
Have picked up a prospectus from local comp, it actually looks very nice, and made me feel a bit of a snob. I was a little concerned though as it only goes up to 16 so we would have to find elsewhere to go for a-levels anyway so yet another move ...!
The school he is in is adamant they are keeping him there, so i think they are doing their utmost to talk him around by the sounds of it  i suppose if he leaves it means £10k less a year for them and they didn't have enough year 7's join as it was this year so are probably financially struggling (maybe not as much as the rest of us lol but even so are keen to hang on to everyone)
Not done much today, visited a friend then picked up DD and we all went to town so jjust got in and will make kids some sausages & beans and they can have it with the mash in the fridge already......although i'm not sure how to warm it up without a microwave *confused* :rotfl:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. :wall::wall::wall:Well just sent another email to the letting agency. Told them to basically go f*&^ themselves. they are money grabbing !!!!!s and I am NOT happy. I will never ever use them again.
Guess i will just have to get used to having polish in my house trashing it each time they leave (hmph) at least they are easy to get hold of, pay their rent & don't go through letting agents!
Just feeding kids & omg if they fight one more time i might actually kill them (only kidding) but seriously omfg. I've sat one child at one end of the table and the other child at the other end on the opposite side. My neighbours probably think i have gone mental with all the screaming. But honestly, 'my foot is on that chair it's mine' 'no it's my chair i'm touching it' 'get off' 'no' *smack* *cry* full blown punch up over whose flipping chair it is (and for the record it was the empty chair in the middle of them) :wall::wall::wall::doh::doh:

Oh dear. Doesn't sound very good in the DFW house at present.
Sorry to hear about the letting agents trying to take your hard earned cash.
I reckon DH won't get 12 Mars bars. I reckon, with all the hassle you've had, at least one will be missing.
Try and relax and don't stress too much. I know, easier said than done.:D

Good afternoon all!
Well I've had a bit of a change around with my electricity & gas suppliers! It was an £80 fee to cancel with southern electric ....£100 cash back from Npower....if i changed so i would have been £20 better off *hmmm* but I had SE on the phone trying to keep my custom so anyway long story short i got a good deal with SE and am staying with them :T I get a free energy monitor that can be plugged into laptop and will send accurate readings to SE so no estimated bills, 7% discount & lower DD's! £60 for electric & £37 for gas. So a saving of £3 on gas, £17 on electric :j £20 saved yay! That over the long term works out better than Npower as my dd's would have been slightly moreso no cash back *(boooooooooooo, i do love cashback) but cheaper energy :T & free monitor!
Have a madras in the slow cooker cooking *yumyum* and have done 5 washes in the machine and dried 4 in the tumble drier (cos it's decided to rain cats & dogs outside ) - not really a wonder why my electric useage is 5500 KW a year really is it
Also making a fruit & jelly flan for pudding the kids seem to like the look of it lol but we'll see if they like to eat it :rotfl:`
Am going to have an hour on the couch now whilst kids play, i've got a massive headache and need to rest my eyes :cool:MORTGAGE BALANCE when we moved Aug 2024, £120,000. January 1st £118,267.06. I am such an idiot  i somehow unsubscribed from my own diary and have just spent 20 mins looking for it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well today was another NSD :j
yet another scare of chicken pox...........ds is covered in a funny looking rash :undecided but can't see any blister type looking spots?! DD has about half a dozen big spots all over her and no rash  so i guess only time will tell.
It *may* explain all their fighting and bad behaviour, or not :rotfl:
Planning on another NSD tomorrow, but if it turns out to be chicken pox i will go get some medicine for lil ones...so will have to play it by ear!
I have managed to do one good deed today, I talked my friend out of going into town and buying herself some boots, after all she's on a dmp, has only £120 left to last the month & really doesn't need themi'm not really sure she's had her LBM at all :rotfl: i will keep trying though :rotfl:
