The only thing I will say is when I complained to ICE and the case was at Bolton, they reacted like scalded cats...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0

****STOP THE PRESS****
I got a child support payment! It was that small it didn't even register when I checked my bank account. So the Bolton crew really need re-trained the [STRIKE]shoite [/STRIKE]information they tell you when you phone is a bleedin joke.
Bearing in mind my 1st child support payment was due the 8th March as per the assessment they printed off and sent to me. So the 8th March came and went, phoned Bolton oh it's a DOE you will have to wait until the 19th of the month, and you won't get the full amount on the payment schedule you will only get three weeks worth. Then in April you will get 5 weeks worth.
So the 19th of March came and went again nowt in the bank, phoned Bolton again you have to wait until the 26th of the month as it's a DOE and then if you don't have a payment phone us back.
See a pattern emerging here :rotfl:;)
So the 26th of the month came and went and again no payment in the bank, phoned Bolton again (it's getting freakin old) oh no you won't get a payment this month as DOE is a month in arrears !!!!!!! You won't get Marchs' payment until at least the 19th of April.
Just as well I don't depend on it eh!
So I thought christ I'm bored the day I'm going to phone my friends at the Bolton office just to see how they all are.
Oh yes there was a payment sent out to your bank account on the 31st March  You're kiddin, nope a payment was sent, ermm can you tell me how much for. It's x amount, OH! but the payment schedule say's it should be x amount, why isn't it x amount? loved this next bit I dunno :rotfl:Jesus mother of pearl!
So actually a DOE isn't worth the paper isn't written on! No if the DOE isn't paid in full the next 2 months then we will be contacting the employer as to why they aren't sending the amount requested, so you are adding even more onto the arrears that is outstanding already.
!!!!in clowns

I am having exactly the same problems! When I rang (the CSA) to ask why I hadn't received the money as per the date on the schedule she said 'Oh that doesn't mean you're going to get it then, that just means that's the date the employer is deducting the money. We have to rely on them sending it to us'.......
!!!!!!!!!
So even when you get it in writing it's a load of bollyhocks :mad:It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey

Honestly don't know why they even bother to send out a payment schedule as it's not worth the paper it's printed on! What's the point in the dam thing if a) the amount of child support isn't what's going to be received and b) they can send it whenever they want.I am having exactly the same problems! There's no point trying to budget around the dam thing, and now I can see why child support isn't taken into account for the sake of benefits. Say for example if it was taken into account and I had to send the payment schedule to the DWP, the DWP would have knocked the CSA payments off any benefits on both the day that it was meant to be paid and they would also have used the amount on the schedule as well and reduced any benefits accordingly. Which would leave someone on benefits up the creek without a paddle as they didn't get any money when they should have and the amount would be incorrect also, then you would have all the carry on trying to get the DWP to a) understand this and b) reinstate any benefits.*SIGH*

Good point.
I just would really love to know if my ex realises that although he's being deducted the money, I still haven't seen any of it.......It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey
