What exactly does gone clerical mean

So just had my fornightly chat with the bods at the CSA, only to be told that "your case has gone clerical" to our Stockport office?
So what does this mean exactly? That the NRP is refusing to pay (no never nothing new there then)
, or that the CSA have made a phuck up of my case or what?
Anyone have any experience with the clerical dept in Stockport, I have always been with the Falkirk office *shrugs*

It means that the computer had a hissy fit and wouldn't accept your details, hence it has now gone clerical.0

Strange how it's taken a hissy fit now  especially since the details have been in the system for years.kelloggs36 wrote: »It means that the computer had a hissy fit and wouldn't accept your details, hence it has now gone clerical.*SIGH*

Only takes an attempt to input some new details and "computer says no"

By god those computers will need to be overhauled drastically before CSA3 comes into force.kelloggs36 wrote: »Only takes an attempt to input some new details and "computer says no"

I don't understand why it needs to go to another part of the country? Are people in Falkirk unable to deal with a "computer say's no" carry on.
And how exactly do they get all the info from a case to another CSA dept, is it via the computer that say's no, or do they have to print out everything and send it via pigeon post?
And what exactly do the next CSA dept do with it? Does it stay in someone's inbox for a month or two?
Do they start from the beginning, or do they see that the NRP is a !!!!!! who refuses to pay child support for one child, bearing in mind he has two PWC's within the child support system. How come they are able to secure child support payments for one child (who is younger than my child) but aren't able to secure payments for the other child?*SIGH*

Me neither!
Wondered why it had suddenly gone there!
After getting nothing all these years think i will frame the letter, maybe they are trying to get them all up to date before CSA3 comes in?
Would love to know why Stockport though, just checked my letter and its pp'd by clerical case director, had not noticed that.:)0 -
The labour government bought the CSA computers from the US government- the US got rid of them as they were unreliable...
