    Holy cow!
Spoke to Stockport this morning and apparently they have managed to speak to the NRP and he has agreed to pay child support via a DEO. :j

There are letters in the post for me telling all the usual bits and bob's although I must say I'm still kinda cynical and I will wait until the money actually hits the bank account before I believe it.

    Glad to hear it!

One little disclaimer about the DEO, by law the CSA have to give the employer up until the 19th of the month *following* them deducting the money to send it in, so it may still be a little while before you actually receive anything, for example any deductions due to be taken by the NRP's wages in February may not necessarily be sent in by the employer until March 19th.

  • They don't mean he has agreed to pay by DEO...they mean he has been forced to! And PFTS is right, it works out in effect about 3 months in arrears.

Good that your family will receive it, though.

Oh I know he's being forced ;) I don't expect it any other way!

For crying out loud, my case has now been moved to the infamous Bolton office. Just as well I wasn't depending on any child support.

    Bolton

    I wonder where to next!
