    Afternoon all,

Ruby....get the !!!!!!! How dare he!!

JackieO....we have a law here ( which I thought was EU) that sellers are obliged to take back old electrical goods when selling new...does anyone know if it applies in UK? I agree that you should not need to pay someone to change machines...I can even do it so try one of the grandsons. Good luck with crown...never rains but it pours, does it.

Very cold and windy here to-day, feel as if I am not wearing any clothes....going to airport in a bit to collect DD3, we are then going to IKEA to get a few things....seemed like a good idea when we arranged it, will try not to spend too much money.

Fish and wedges with mixed veg for dinner...no pudding again to-day.

    Have a good afternoon all

Well the few bits ended up costing £42  prices have gone up so much and I can't believe how much loo roll is - I will think of David Cameron every time I wipe my bum :D

Went to get yet another prescription filled and he gave me tablets :( instead of caplets and one thing was short so I am going to take the tablets back tomorrow and see if he has got the other thing in - what a bloody waste of time . To top it all there were 3 drug addicts screaming blue murder because their bloody methadone wasn't ready  I don't think that I will be using that chemist again.

Redruby I can't believe that the other staff knew what was going on and haven't reported it

Dinner tonight is beef stew which is in the slo cooker and smells luverly And I treated us to some strawberries from Aldi cos they are on offer so dessert is Strawberries and Cream

NPM, Bitsy, nic1lou2 ((((((((((Hugs))))))))) you need them x

Well I am off to make a coffee
Keep warm and safe everyone x
Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Afternoon all, sorry I haven't read trhe thread yet but hugs to all the unwell and bummed down!
Despite not going out last night, at 3am everyone poured into my lounge to continue the party, I was soooo angry at first but I ended up going down in my jimjams and joining in :)

One of my friend's flatmates is moving out next year and is looking for someone to replace the room, and that someone will be me! A cheap, fairly big room with my own sink  I won't miss cleaning up after the boys, being freezing cold or the place falling apart but I shall miss my double bed :o

That's enough from me! Can't wait to get back to lectures, into my routine and back on the boards properly
Living cheap in central London :rotfl:

I do too!! We have a pound stretcher near us and I wait til they do 2 x 18 rolls for £5 then stock up. Hideous paper, almost as bad as public loos, but such a saving.

I also think of Brown when I buy condoms. Tax reduced by 12.5% on them Gordon but they still cost more or less the same?! How helpful.
