Morning all,
Red Ruby that's shocking about your dad- Go get em!!
nmlc thats lovely of you
Jackie O- buy cheap with a warranty, i bought a samsung for about £300 and it conked out after 2 years, i was allowed a new machine up to £600, i now have a Bosch and it's great. Don't buy in a shop cos you get charged for delivery. Can your daughter manage to plumb it in? It's easy, i did my own If you put the old one outside it would soon disappear for scrap.
Well not a lot to do today- got pies out for tea and i think i'm going to B &Q for some wood to box some pipes in and could do with a bit of food shopping. Don't really have the fancies on for anything foodwise so maybe i need to mealplan. Inspiration please!!
Take care0 -
Morning all
Well new dog is settling well but we have found out that he has only been in the UK for a year he came from Lithuania and so he doesnt understand a word we say:Dso i am looking into puppy classes for him as we will have to start from the begining either that or i will have to learn Lithuanian:p
Off to the dentist later probably will have to have this tooth out but i am fed up with being in pain everyday so will take a Tena lady and a spare pair of trews and just get it over n done with:o I am terrified
RRuby cant believe that this was allowed to happen what is wrong with people I hope that the other staff are prepared to speak up I am so angry for you and your family

Morning everyone.
Feel a wee bit better after yesterday. Had a good cry (at various points during the day) so feel a bit more emotionally stableReally need to get a grip, I hate how I end up in an emotional rollercoaster
Not much plans for today. H is off today and tomorrow although I am still working. Tea tonight will probably be something involving sausage.
Butterflybrain - you were right about snow, we had a tiny tiny amount, only enough to stick to the windows of the car but the fact is it tried :eek:
Redruby - Words fail me  How is it people like this manage to get employed in the most inappropriate jobs. Does make me wonder what this sh*tbag has been doing to the other residents and for how long. Kick a fuss big time, bloke should lose his job TBH. I know that sounds harsh but he clearly isn't in the right job with vulnerable people.
julie - I know nothing about cars (shame really my dad's a qualified mechanic) - can you put a plea out on FB (if you're on there) for anyone who might be able to help or know someone who doesn't charge garage prices?
esmf - Hugs, can't be easy working full time xx
Hugs, spoons and high fives all round.I have a gift for enraging people, but if I ever bore you it'll be with a knifeLouise Brooks

Had some shocking news about dad last night, when mum was there he broke down in tears and admitted that one of the night staff has been bullying him :mad::mad:, to say that I am angry is such an understatement, to pick on a vulnerable elderly man, it has been witnessed by other staff members too, I spent a lot of time on the phone to the ward and social services last night and will do the same today. The night nurse (male) was not on duty last night, and the ward ,manager and matron will look into it today and phone me back, if this man is still to work there we do not want dad in there, I am sooooo angry
That is disgusting! I hope they do something about that poor excuse for a human being  Things like this make me sick!!
Morning peeps,

Good Morning All!
Redruby - hope this gets sorted very quickly. Not likely your poor Dad is the only one this has been happening to, either.
JackieO - So sorry about your WM and your crown. We had to have a new WM recently and I did get the plumber to fit it as we had to have new pipework out in the garage, so it was part of the job. DS put one in his flat and it was literally the work of minutes to attach the hoses to where the previous tenant had had theirs, so maybe your DDs or their husbands could fit it for you. Our old one went for scrap - it was outside in the kitchen-fitters' skip and a couple of very pleasant Polish lads knocked the door and asked if they could have it. So, you may not have to pay out as much as you think on this one. The crown tho'...ouch! Dental charges not cheap around here!
Must rush now as doggies have all four paws crossed! Will try to pop back later. Take care.Resolution:

Good Morning all
At last have some good news to report after the mixed week we`ve had. My husbands neice gave birth to a baby girl this morning :j. Mother and baby are well.
This is so bitter/sweet because his nephew and his partner lost twin girls on Sunday. They died in the womb. I can only imagine how they must be feeling
Also please to report have lost 3 1/4lbs this week following WW Pro Points (in between the comfort eating)
Lot`s to do today workwise. Plus have to find time to book car in the garage for a service.
Have planned to have chicken casserole for tea, will put it in the SC at lunchtime.
Also need to load WM and unload/reload DW.
Must also attempt to climb the ironing mountain after work.
Have a good day everyone.0 -

Honeybee - congrats on the job
Redruby - your poor Dad x
Well last night's date went very well.
I'm in work at moment. Need to do some admin this morning and then I have to go out and meet some young people this afternoon.
No plans for tonight yet. Should go to gym but not feeling it really!
OS wise - DW will go on, and need to make some soup for lunches.
Have a good day all
