I do too!! We have a pound stretcher near us and I wait til they do 2 x 18 rolls for £5 then stock up. Hideous paper, almost as bad as public loos, but such a saving.

I also think of Brown when I buy condoms. Tax reduced by 12.5% on them Gordon but they still cost more or less the same?! How helpful.

    Afternoon all.

Sorry to hear some folk are having a tough time at the moment.

Not much os'ing going on here today i'm afraid. Was out all day but had a nice lunch at my friends and a good gossip.

Back to the nightshift for me tomorrow so need to try and get organised today so I can try and sleep tomorrow.

OH has put a black out blind up at long last in our room have needed one for a year but just never got round to it.

Not sure what's for dinner but something easy I think so I can get the kids into bed then I will need to do a washing, pack backs for the kids sleep over this weekend at their granparents and then sort out food for work this weekend.

I'm feeling a bit spaced out. For last week or so every time I tilt my head to the left I feel dizzy. Normally it passes within a few seconds, but this afternoon I have felt dizzy the whole time. I've made Drs appointment for next Thurs (earliest one). Finger's crossed it will just go away.

I'm planning an early night. Can't even be bothered to make any tea.

I'm still in a good mood though as me and date boy have been texting all day :D

    Have a good evening all

    Morning all,

JackieO sorry about your wm, if we were nearer i would send OH round to take your machine out and out your new one in, takes minites and yet they charge a fortune for it  xx

Had some shocking news about dad last night, when mum was there he broke down in tears and admitted that one of the night staff has been bullying him :mad::mad:, to say that I am angry is such an understatement, to pick on a vulnerable elderly man, it has been witnessed by other staff members too, I spent a lot of time on the phone to the ward and social services last night and will do the same today. The night nurse (male) was not on duty last night, and the ward ,manager and matron will look into it today and phone me back, if this man is still to work there we do not want dad in there, I am sooooo angry

Off to work today, and I need to make lots of phone calls re the above, dinner tonight is chips OH will have ham with his dd will have quorn nuggets, and I shall have ham salad.

Nic, hope you are ok hun, keep your chin up xxx

Honeybee well done on the job :T

    Have good days all xx

Its a shame that your dad is not in a home by were i live. Id be there tonight waiting outside for that bloke to come. He would not be bullying any old men ever again after iv finished with him:mad::mad:

Insist on him loseing his job. You might also wont to think about pressing charges agenst him. If also wont to tell the home that you very well may press charges agenst them.
If you do press charges agenst him. Even if he only gets a churshion by the police it will be on his record so he would never be able to work in a carehome or with children ever again as it would show up on his CRB check that every career now has to have.
Myself i would contact the police.
The home will try and please you but at the sametime they will try and sweep it all under the carpet as they dont wont a bad rep.
    Good luck.:A:A

Despite not going out last night, at 3am everyone poured into my lounge to continue the party, I was soooo angry at first but I ended up going down in my jimjams and joining in :)

One of my friend's flatmates is moving out next year and is looking for someone to replace the room, and that someone will be me! A cheap, fairly big room with my own sink  I won't miss cleaning up after the boys, being freezing cold or the place falling apart but I shall miss my double bed :o

That's enough from me! Can't wait to get back to lectures, into my routine and back on the boards properly

I have to say the last few days you have sounded a lot more happy:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

  • Sorry to hear you're feeling yuck Flutterby, that's rubbish, maybe its something simple like some fluid in your ear or something :) Glad the date went well again, hope you found my gift useful ;)

I think I saw Adelight on FB, she is a delight, think I'll put her in my pocket and keep her there to look after, she's like a cute wee china dolly :)

Gintot, Bitsy's instructions were pretty much dead-on, let us know if you need any more help!

Fajitas for dinner tonight. OH's cough is getting worse, but I found my sympathy this morning in the laundry basket, so I am being nice about it - for now!!

Hope your bum's OK now BBird ;)

Oops cross posted with Halight, so that must definitely be Adelight I saw, thank goodness I never sent a FR to a random :rotfl: and Halight she's far too young for you, but you're right, she's a doll!

    Evening all!!

Had a good day at work, can't believe it's nearly the weekend again! Worried as my p45 hasn't arrived so i will be put on emergency tax - according to listentotaxman i won't be taking home much. I will cover my rent and thats about it. AND the council want the rest of our council tax for this year in the next 7 dayss...£292 i don't have!! I want to pay it, and we are scrimping to try and manage it. As soon as OH gets paid we can! ARGH why do we let ourselves get into this mess? I wonder if they will accept a repayment plan till OH can repay in full? It will be before end of feb.... :(

I don't know what to make for dinner, I got 2 pork chops out the freezer but i don't really like pork, OH can have both of them...maybe with a garlic and herb potato bake, then i can just have potato bake and veggies instead.

Anohter moan, i suffer from reynaulds phenomemon and it's getting so bad. I never used to get it in my hands and today it's taken 30 mins for the feeling to return to my index finger. It even went really white and painfull. and my toes have always been bad but are getting much worse. Trip to the drs migght be in order.

Hugs to everyone else who needs them!!
