Whilst I am pleased with the device, I should add that mine has also crashed on me several times 'whilst playing' with it last night (not using in the car, just in house)
Does pick up a great signal even when inside though0 -

The only way to charge the unit is in car. It does not come with a mains PSU, and you cannot use the USB cable for charging. The USB cable is for reading content of the flash memory, SD card, etc.
The dosking cradle is a bu**er to put on. It takes several attempts until it is secured.
Spped camera warning: The 6200 gives a speed camera warning if you are in the VICINITY of a camera - i.e. the camera could be in a parallel road, or even on the opposite side of the road. You still get a (pointless) warning. So unlike more "intelligent" camera warning devices like road angel, which do not give a warning unless there is a camera in the direction of travel, it seems the camera warning on the 6200 is somewhat flawed, and certainly not for everyday use.
The device has also crashed on me during one trip (i.e. froze/hung), and had to do a soft reset.
Also, the directions given at roundabouts can be pretty confusing. i.e. at a roundabout where the third exit is on the right, the device correctly says "third exit", and the little roundaboput diagram comes up, but it shows third exit as straight on the little diagram, as opposed to being on the right. The exit is displayed correctly on the main map, however. It is only on the little roundabout symbol on the top left of the screen, that an incorrect symbol is shown.
Apart from these criticisms, mostly good though. It re-routes very quickly, acquires and mainitains signal very well, and is small enough (about the same size and thickness as a packet of cigarettes) to slip into a pocket.
Was gonna get one until i read that. Decided on the TT1.0 -

Yeah, but not for £99.It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.
Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.0 -

Its not £99 i wish it was, the best i've seen it for is £187.80 from Dixons, tis good though.0 -
Bought one from my local ASDA. The store were sent about fifteen. All but mine have gone to staff. I only got one because someone agreed to put my name on a box yesterday.
Not sure what to make of the thing yet. If l can get it to run TomTom I might use that instead of the built-in NAVIGATIOR (sic) software.

Bought one and tried it and didnt like it, you can tell its built for a price as build quality seems poor cheap plastic casing, it does find sats pretty solidly tho, the road names have tiny fonts not the easiest to read, every time you touch the screen it has an anoying chirp sound that you cant turn off, if you are going to use it occasionaly it will suit the bill if you will be using it alot invest in a Navman F20 or TomTom Onev2 about £60 more but alot better way faster in the menus and calculations
Updates for £30 is very expensive IMO , at least with the PocketGPS.com ones for TT and Navman you only pay £2 when you need to update them it might be once or twice a year if you dont use the unit that much but £30 is a rip off.
Im sticking to my TT V20 -
AFAICR, you *can* turn the clicking off and for someone else who wrote that it doesn't charge via USB, it *does*.

You can turn the volume off yes but it also turns off the voice0
