  • you can charge the unit up via usb but i am lead to believe you need a version 2 usb for this to happen...when the unit is charging it (on mine) is a yellowish colour and when it is fully charged it turns green.

Have you plugged it into your cigarette lighter in the car while in use?

it is normal for the unit to show as in usb mode.
They've got cars big as bars
    They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
It's no place for the old

    I have another question .

I've just registered with evesham and downloaded the 2006 speed camera update .

It says that i need a memory card for the installation to be completed :j

I'm quite new to pc's downloads etc , so i was just wondering what kind of memory card do i need ,

Any info would be greatly appreciated ,

  • I have bought the 6200 an it seems fine but I need mapping of France. I was told by Asda that European mapping would be available early next year but after telephoning Evesham I am told that this may only be a maybe!. "Think the Worst" I was told. Well I will take it back unless someone out there can give me a solution or compatable maps that may be available. Talk gently as I am not too good at tech problems. Thanks

As i mentioned earlier get a branded unit like TomTom or Garmin, Navman they are supported, these cheapo units wont be worth the hassle in a few months when there is no support for them
