Tabby - try a soft reset (press a pencil or similar into the little hole at the bootm (don't do a hardware reset by sliding the switch like you did to start it).
For the voices - Is the volume up? Check the volume isn't muted, and also check you have it set to give you guidance and not just show you the route you are taking.. Then go into the settings and try switching between voices and see if that helps.

The model at staples for £100 is the C310 not the C510.
A better deal is the C510Ddeluxe from Halfords for £200, comes with full European mapping and the TMC traffic module.
You should also get the free update to version 9 maps when it comes out next year.0 -
Dos anybody know if full European maps are available for the 6200?
ThanksWon

The 6200 has been hacked and the tom tom software can now be installed on it.
Thanks to Mick for the info.

I think I was the first person to get TomTom 6 working successfully on the 6200 over at PocketGPS.
My advice is not to bother. See my post over there for why.0 -
Hi All,
Just a quick one.
Can you charge the Nav Cam from the USB?
The reason I ask is that it is saying battery low and I would need to drive for 6 hours just to charge it.
Had some probs on my 1st outing. It gave dodgy directions. Could this be to do with not being charged properly?
Thanks.

Hi all .
Used the nav cam 6200 today for the first time today and all went well :j
I have a question about charging the unit though
When i took the unit out of the box i put it on charge via the usb port .
This put the unit into ' USB DISC MODE ' is this normal ?
Also when the unit was put on charge for the first time i noticed a GREEN light on the top left of the screen which was lit up :santa2:
I assumed that the green light was an indication of a FULL CHARGE , but after only 20 minutes of use in the car i got a LOW battery warning light .
Once i got home i put the unit on charge via the usb port and the' GREEN '
light was lit up again .
Is there another light that needs to illuminate once full charge is reached :undecided
How long does it take for a full charge to occur ?
Can't seem to find much info on charging with the intructions
Any help would be greatly appreciated ,
