Any chance of a sneak peek at the dress?

My dress is Kitty by Rosetta Nicolini at Berketex, the picture on the website does it no justice whatsoever! It was a little bit over budget, but my mum kindly offered to pay the difference for me.
When is everyone sending out invitations for their weddings? I was thinking March/April, is that too early? Also, we were wanting to set up a gift list where we can combine some household items with a some 'extras' for our honeymoon (day trips etc). Does anyone have any companies they would recommed? We don't strictly need household stuff, but theres a few items in the debenhams and john lewis kitchen departments that I would mind adding to my kitchen
I need to learn to delegate more- I'm spending more money than I need to travelling between Bristol and Newcastle to sort out wedding stuff. Both our families live up there and one of my bridesmaids! Plently of people to run errands for me!0 -

I guess I need to go down to the registry office this week & give notice for both OH & me have not done it yet
Trying to think what else I have done
Photographer is booked now we went for someone else who is lovely & I fee we get more for our money
Entertainment is now booked for evening ie blackjack tables & chocolate fountain. Cars have been booked..
Ohhhh & I got my dress last weekend as well, love it. I'm not a dress person never wear them so seeing myself in one was very weird. I didn't think I'd get the wow feeling but 20 dresses later I did & felt very emotional seeing myself in one.Getting married Sat 1st September.Saving like mad for the next 40 weeks0 -

Sorry if you're already aware of this and it's just me misreading your post, but you need to make an appointment to register your intention to marry, and both you and your H2B need to be at the appointment. Your local Council website will give you all the info.
Great news about the dress! What's it like? Can we see a piccie??

Weird; I was sure I'd replied to this post, but must have just clicked out of it instead of posting it!!!!
Dress is gorgeous; I love the floaty drapey bits!
Re invites, we're sending ours in April, probably with an RSVP date sometime in July. Pretty much everyone has to travel and stay over as both families are spread all over the country, so we want to give people time to organise things without giving them so much time they forget to RSVP! We're telling people the date now, and will start researching guest travel and accommodation soon.
I've got a couple of websites bookmarked for gift lists, and I'm sure one or two of them allow you to build your own list from different sources and types. I'll have a look at them and link any that might be useful.
I didn't notice you were in Bristol as well; I think there are four of us here from the Sep '12 thread! It is hard to delegate, especially when you have a clear picture in your head of how things should look. No real advice to offer I'm afraid; I know I'm going to have to let other people take over certain things otherwise I'll run myself completely ragged, but it's hard to let go.....

Hi,
I don't know if this website is any good? http://www.zankyou.com/uk/wedding-lists
I think you can add different components to it, rather than choosing just one, eg Honeymoon or traditional gifts, but I haven't looked into it thoroughly yet.
