woooo i finally get to work on something crafty!! ha ha, i may just try making one too just so i know the size im making them is possible....or else i could end up making a ton of folded ones only to find out a few days before the wedding they are the wrong size or dont look right LOL

Heehee! I have an idea, but's a little vague at the mo - I find I need to play around with stuff before an idea solidifies in my head if you know what I mean! I want to do something with a stencil, either spraypainting through it, or using it as a template to cut out a pattern and have a contrasting colour behind it. I really want an art deco feel to it, which is good because that style lends itself well to stencils *claps hands with excitement* I know there'll be multiple prototypes and half-finished samples before I get on to the real ones - I'm such a perfectionist I'll want to get it just right - 'hmm, shall I put the template there, or move it 3mm to the left...?' :rotfl:

my auntie does card making and shes very much into the art deco stuff, she has embossing stuff and everything! LOL

mine (im hoping) will be on a tall white card, with two of these little elephants (i have this punch) not sure what colour yet...in the top third


facing each other and a tiny heart where their trunks join

and a fancy piece of ribbon running under them.

and at the bottom of the card in the right hand corner, something like 'wedding' or 'invitation' or even...'love' LOL

i bet we both make an absolute mess making them! but i bet you make more of a mess than i do with ur stencils and sprays ha ha

I'll try and get one done in the next two or three weeks -just for you! I can just imagine what would happen if I asked H2B to clear up after I had made a mess - he'd just look at me and go "err, no"!! Which I suppose is fair enough

lol my mum and dad used to sigh when that came on because they knew something crafty but totally useless was about to take pride of place in the front room haha

Im not sure where to buy my cards from...im not really sure whats expensive and whats cheap?! LOL
