    Hey All,

Thanks for the warm welcome :)

Great to hear about others marrying at Chester zoo, and that others are marrying on the same date! I'm so excited I can't stop thinking about wedding things... which isn't helpful as I have a PhD thesis to get written (hopefully finish BEFORE the wedding!!)

phew the pressure is off, the hubster to be has found another job which he will start the day after he finishes his current one, thanks for all your kind words. We have at least another £1000 to go towards the budget which we didnt expect which is his reducancy pay.

on the planning side.........have paid the deposit for my bouquet bouquet.jpg

have bought pretty much all of the wedding stationary now, just need to get ribbon which i will get from the local market. Worried as I am not creative 1 little bit. :o

bridesmaids already fighting over the hen party, me ...honestly.....i dont want one as i dont drink alcohol.

We have paid the deposit for the church and confirmed saturday 8th not friday 7th as we first booked. We are meeting the rep from the venue next week to pay the deposit and get a price for what we want. its all coming together

    hope you are all ok

    xx

That's good to hear he's found another job & also the bonus of having a bit of extra in your wedding fund:T

My bridesmaid & her oh are over tomorrow so we might have a look at some bridesmaid dresses to see if we can get an idea of what she likes:D

That's great news about your H2B's new job saintly! I love that bouquet, it's absolutely beautiful.

Re hen do, if you really don't want one, don't have one! They don't have to involve drinking though - how about afternoon tea, or a lesson in something like chocolate making or dancing? I've just found out that H2B's sister is having a burlesque dancing lesson for hers - it's going to be ace!! :T

    That's good MSE-ing nuttymummy!! :money:

I tried to post pictures of my dress in progress but haven't been able to. I'll sit down and work it out at some point, promise!!

I just need to open a photobucket or imageshack account I think. I've successfully posted photos from google before, despite being utterly technologically inept! Not putting the photos on facebook, for obvious reasons!

I would LOVE to be let loose in a kids play centre!! :rotfl: Without any kids there, obviously - they'd just get in the way...

    thanks saintly!

LOL yeah kids play centre would eb so much fun! as would a day at the theme park, go karting,
hen parties have too much of a reputation of people going out and getting drunk...so i deffo dont want to fall into that category! lol
